Anything I deem important that would I prefer people not to cut corners on, I'm only thinking of safety/reliability etc, nothing personal. Seen it go horribly wrong for people so I have my reasons.1 point

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=390747884381 Takes ten mins to compress the spring and re use OEM top mount, don't get those cheap top hats! Will bite you in the bum! Lol1 point
-
as roj said spring compressors arent expensive. things like this you dont want to do cheap or half assed because its your life at the end of the day :/1 point
-
Tenner on eBay for a spring compressor. Cheaper than the top mounts you posted. I'd link but I'm on my phone. Doesn't take much searching to find it mind you.1 point

Just had an alignment done on the Beemer! I thought it handled fine before apart from the front toe causing the car to veer left (hence the need for an alignment), but it feels great now. Had the rest of the car checked out whilst it was on the ramps and it's completely fine so that's me happy. Not bad for a 20 year old Beemer!1 point
