  6. Yeah can see Grant's point, costs about the same for his brand new one as it might do for a second hand plus refurbishing it. It's swings and roundabouts when it comes to putting your own 'kit' together.

  7. Ok, guest accounts now reconfigured. Verification code now required to post so should stop the spam but still allow genuine folk to post.

  9. Update: So car has been off road since November as it needed a few issues sorting but due to starting final year at uni and internship, I haven't had time to do anything really and by the time I get home, it's already dark lol. So in mean time I was back to driving my old trusty MB3. I'm really loving the economy it gives lol. As Spring is just around the corner, I really want the car ready for summer. So in the weekend I charged the battery overnight and car started straight away. First issue I started to diagnose was the ABS light. Error code showed 11 which is Front Right sensor. So I removed the wheel and was welcomed with this. The grease was all over the ABS ring. This also explains why the knocking noise. I thought it be easier to replace the whole thing so ordered new driveshaft from J&R and fitted it the other day. ABS light gone Although I did have a battle with the ball joint as the f*cker wouldn't pop out and now it looks like I've ruined the thread as it is spinning. So a new one is on the order. So far that's it. Still loads to do in the next coming weeks as listed below. Ball joint Fix idle hunt Fix misfire New VTEC solenoid gasket New windscreen 2x new front tyres MG ZS suspension

  10. Unfortunately as you've already said the cars are few and far between so you may have to have a day out to see/fetch one! Jay's car is decent having seen it in person! He's selling because of a knee problem meaning he can no longer comfortably drive a manual, sad times!
