  1. Yeah, even with the bad weather, it was a really brilliant place to visit, the roads were mad!!! Deffo going back there for another meet! Can't believe how the new alloys have changed Dawns deck, really suits them mate!
  2. lol I is the trendsetter! Done mate! Thats made the bank account a bit lighter! I know, never again will she leave my sight! lol mesh with the chrome would look good imo. i do have plans to mod the grill, so watch this space!

  4. Sorry guys, only just noticd this was a goer! I'll get this paid asap!
  5. Now I'm a happy chappy! Finished the final alloy today, so Ruby is now wearing her White stilletos all round again! She's got her mojo back, and her identity! Also went and bought brand new fasteners/clips to replace all the ones that are missing in the boot, so that's all sorted too! Oh, and I changed the front grill, her original had been painted matt black during her time away from me, and the paint was chipped with the chrome showing through. TBH, I hated the black grill, with her colour, the balck just killed the look. Looked crap imo! So had a spare standard grill in the shed, so got that fitted today too. She's looking like her old self again! Will get some pics up tomorrow.
  6. I've had that in a lot of cars tbh, the front end bouncing when trying to take off with high revs. It really feels like it slams the car down on each bounce, due the them being very short, with very little gap in between them. I had Toyo T1r's too, and can't remember if they suffered from it any worse than my previous tyres. Them toys are mega sticky, but I found you don't get a lot of miles out of them if driving hard a lot. Deck is looking totally sweet mate, absolutely love this one!
  7. Yeah, he's a good bloke to deal with! and good to not have to venture far from civic5 to get the parts your after too! Bonus! lol
  8. yup, Baikal green. seems to be a few for sale on fleaby just now mate so easy to get the right one.
  9. Totally love this mb6! Was talking about it just recently to someone on FB. They were trying to decide what colour to do the standard alloys on their blue mb6, and I said white!! Mentioned this one! lol Really beautiful civic mate! And agree, top work on the engine build!
  10. dingbro do the paints too??? never knew that mate! i think the only prob with them is you need to be trade, least they told me that last time i callled. luckily my mate has a trade card for them! i'll need to see what i can find out about that scanner, sounds the biz!
  11. Again I'd recommend 10000rpm on here. Has sold me lots of parts with no problems at all mate. Just look up his username 10000rpm in the members tab in the forum menu, and drop him a pm. I've noticed Rob Horner on our FB aswell, but I was a bit concerned as one of the few scammers we had in the forum was called "Rob Horner Honda". Did think about removing him from FB group, but tbh, we can't go by our forum rules etc on FB as it's a social networking site, not owned by us. As we've always stated, on FB Civic5, it's Buyer beware.
  12. Found this while looking for a paint supplier. Seems to cover every colour Honda ever made (and a load I've never even heard of!) from the past right up to now. http://paintcode.co.uk/honda-paint-codes-858-0.html Can also order the paint from them aswell, and I think going by the URL, theyre uk based.

  14. Just spotted this mate! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic-estate-parcel-shelf-blind-99-aerodeck-48hr-delivery-/110976031516?fits=Car+Make%3AHonda|Model%3ACivic&hash=item19d6afdb1c
  15. I got a spare black one kicking around somewhere I think, but you can deff get them in biege/cream aswell mate. As said above, check breakers for 1.6 LS/SE/ES, as they had them if they were (depending on which trim was ordered when new) in the sicillian red, blue, and most dark green models had it, There's a deck in the breakers where I am, but I can't remember if it was it that had the beige interior or one of the hatches next to it. If I'm back there soon, i'l see if it's there bud
  16. Yeah she will look a lot better again............................and hey presto! here she is!! She's got her white stilletos back on!!!!! Happy with how they turned out! She's now getting her DNA back, and starting to like Ruby again!! Only down side is,....................I've only got two rims doen so far!! drivers side to do now! lol Hard work sanding and prepping in this amazing heatwave we're having, so will leave the other 2 till the weekend
  17. Exactly! Just like women! grooooan! I'll let ya off with the pun lmao. Yeah, keep finding things, and I'm like ffs!!! She's getting there. Was gonna go do the next whell but it's toooo effing hot outside! Who would believe we'd ever say that in scotland lol
  18. A little mod that I started yesterday! HAd a good look at Rubys wheels, and thought that they needed freshened up. The wheels I'd had refurbed and powder coated white had been painted silver, and to me they just killed the look of both the wheels and the car. So got one off for a look, and was a bit disappointed to see the condition of them Inside the wheel was horrible. That pic is after I'd washed it and scrubbed it! Looked manky. Deffo not up to my usual fussy standards (take a look at the photos further back in the post where I'm getting her ready for Japfest2 to see the explanation of "fussy"!) So decided that I'd had enough of the dull silver wheels, and that I'd refurb them myself............. and the inside of the rim..... Now that's better! Ruby is getting her white stilettos back! Only done the one wheel so far to see how it turned out. It's no where near as good as the powder coating was, but I just needed the rims to be white again, just to give her her identity back. Plan is that I'll now do the rest, and once winter comes and shes in her new garage, I'll put her on axle stands and send the wheels away for a full refurb and powder coat in white again. PS: ingnore the paint on the tyre, this is one of the ones that is to be binned as it's fooked!
  19. yeah, I would deffo keep the badges on mate! as said, really makes it a sleeper haha!
  20. Yeah, really worrying! Also been out doing some stuff to her today, and was in the boot. Every single fastener that holds all the side trims in place are missing (wondered why it was rattling so much) and the trim was all hanging off. Gonna get some new bits to sort this all out too. On another note, have started the modding bug again, been up to something today! lol More to follow!
