  1. Great to see you both have civic m's mate! bet there's aways an argument about who's car youre going out in! lol both look tidy bud
  2. Bunk beds for the win!!! lol Had a call from the garage company, it will be arriving and be built on Thursday!!
  3. If it's not opening with the key either mate, it sounds as though the actual mechanism itself has failed. Not had this happen on any of my civics, but has happend on other cars I've had. Can you get a pair of pliers onto the actual metal bit of the cable? At the tailgate end I mean? If you can, get your mate to pull the cable release, then you try and pull the cable with the pliers just that little bit more, might be enough to budge it. You'll struggle to get the plastic trim off with the boot closed, so you may have to cut a hole into it to get to the mechanism to get it open. Once fixed, you can always get another trim panel from the breakers. Sounds like the wee plastic clip on the mechanism has broke though.
  4. lol I shall indeed! I got some pics of the base once it was done, so will post them all up once the garage starts to go up. Been dribbling looking through the machine mart catalogue! Gonna be getting a nice bench, shelving units and metal storage units! And a wee special thing will be going up, but keeping it a secret for now!
  5. Lovelyb new car mate, and a great choice (staying with the "H" and the accords the nicest of the new Hondas. Love the tourer, and especially in that colour! Interior looks a sweet place to be. Dawn wanted one exactly the same as that, same leather etc. Has it got the electric tailgate? Dawn was facinated by that, and would have been ideal for her in her circumstances. Looking forward to seeing the new Broons bus!!
  6. Garage base is all down, but they have to raise the driveway because the way the land is sloped in my drive, it's meant the garage base is too high for the cars to actually get in!! They had to build it at that height though to avoid it flooding, so all going well, the garage should be complete hopefully end of next week. Can't wait!!
  7. Hi mate, lovely looking VTiS. Nice low miles too, so you got one of the good ones. Saw this advertized too, and thought it was well worth the money. Seem to recognize the reg aswell, think it may have been a members car on here at some point. S2K must have been fun!!! Love them to bits, amazing cars. We don't mind seeing some VAG's on here, I love the RS4! You can stick up a wee project on your other cars in the Non Honda bit of the projects section mate, we like lots of pics here! I'm bloody excited about this car big time, a true one-off MB with the looks and the go-go to match! Really looking forward to seeing this soon, and yeah, must be great to finally see her back on your drive after all those years bud! been a long long road but by god you've definately got there in the end eh!
  9. Wholly crap! Just saw it!! I'm bloody tempted, thats a bargain!!!! Would need to part company with Lexy though, and put Ruby into daily duties! Or could use that one for the daily stuff, get some miles on it. Damn Simon, wish I hadn't seen it now!! The cogs are spinning overtime!
  10. Thats class! Can you imagine taking that to one of these "hand wash" car washes! The poor guy washing it would have a heart attack thinking he'd just fooked your paintwork!!!!! lmao

  17. From the guy putting the foundations in to garage up, just over a week. The founds are the time consuming bit. The garage only takes a day!! Nice concrete safe house for Ruby and DD! Dave what date you's coming up again? Know you said Sept but cant remember the date! It's my age,lol keep forgetting things! Hahaha! I'll send her down mate!
  18. No idea why our fogs seem to be the easiest in the world to get broken. Right royal pain in the butt! I have a plan in mind though, but need to wait till my garage is up before I can get busy. Hopefully a cure/lifesaver for our fogs!! She's looking sweet Dave, love this little M!
  19. Last day for votes guys, poll closes tomorrow!!! Been a cracker this time folks!!
  20. From what I can gather, there isnt any difference bewtween the model years on the 180 zs. Not sure why they are listing two different springs dependent on chassis number. Are you sure it's not the 180ZS and the 180 ZS Diesel? They both have the same rear springs, but fronts are different I think? I've had a good look through the MG-Rover forum, and can't find anything that would suggest anything other than the above mate.
  21. I didn't realize there were differences between the years, just thought the 180 set up was the same across the board. I'll see what i can find out mate. Any idea what year the car was your suspension came from?
  22. Sorry to hear this mate, she looks like a good one too. Fingers crossed you get her back in one piece.
