I used my mates DAS6 a couple of times before i bought one. I haven't used mine for a year, i wanted to do it before the winter but after moving house and not having a garage now i didn't get around to it Make sure you keep aside a day, as you don't want to cut corners.

Its all in the preparation mate Take your time and read some guides. I agree that the price of bodyshops are getting higher, and most of the time work getting poorer!

I was thinking it looks more like a Golf GTi with the red grille.

Are you going to paint the sills to match the splitter mate?

It was late and i had to fill my mates van tyre. Once i done that i then thought i might as well do mine as they have a compressor. I'm not sure really it was late and i was tired, but i think i may have bent the inner part of the valve. I don't under stand what you mean? -
Is it not showing because there wasn't a on-line system until 2006?

Thanks for all the comments I went to re wrap the other fog surround this week. After taking all the old wrap off (took ages due to the laquer). I then wrapped it again, next was to start on the laquer..... Forgot to bring it with me So it looks like due to the weather this weekend i will have to paint them in the spare room lol. I did spend the time fitting my new mats properly, removing the damaged fog to see if i could salvage any bits from it or the bracket. Then i broke the valve in my tyre at 12am, luckily my mate was there and fitted another one as neither of us could be f**ked to change the tyre lol -
Much better mate, it looks less chavvy now

Having actually used it last night its so much easier to reach up and switch on when you are driving. Also as i have a bright main light and the two map reading ones you get the best of both worlds B-) Scratching the paint off under the light for the earth was a pain as there were more layers than i thought. So out came mr trusty dremel lol -

I forgot the other day that i booked this afternoon off. So i managed to get the interior light all working. I even found some LEDs in the glovebox for the map reading lights which was perfect timing! All three lights on... Just the map reading lights on... Now i can get back on with my fogs, as the film arrived today as well. Need to figure out brackets as i had to cut one set off to open them up. Im also going to try and re wrap and clear coat the other cover again tonight too. -

I have a Clifford Blue LED as i know how bright they are as i had one before. I fitted it just behind the gearstick on that bit of trim, it lights up the sunstrip if you look at it from the front at night- 917 replies

There is an accord just down from my house and every time i walk past i look and think they would fit better and probably easier to get hold of.

I would imagine it would spin on way or another if you rotated the other wheel.
-
I have had mine replaced by a bodyshop a few years ago. So they are out there if you look in the right places.

I haven't had the time recently mate. I keep taking on jobs and not finishing the ones before I want to fit them when i fit the fogs, but im still waiting on the film for the lense. Then i have to make a bracket for one of them, also i cant decide what type of bulbs to go in there. I want LED really but ones that are bright enough to use, without being too big that they don't fit into the fog. -
What was it in the end then mate?
