  1. Yours look too low on the front. I thought it's suppose to look like the pic below. I'm tired of this MG suspension they should have advertised the car - Every MG ZS comes with unique suspension.. spudley1988 I'm sorry for spamming your project thread
  2. I don't think that these are ZS120 oem springs
  3. If you have ZS shocks take the springs. It should sit exactly as a ZS120 Look up pics in the net. About 15-20mm drop. You'll be the first on the forum with them but you won't be disappointed. I'm waiting for my ZS120 springs to arrive
  4. Boo MG ZS 120 rack turns out to be 2.7 turns lock-to-lock. But it should still be better than ours. I doubt there's a difference between mk1 and mk2. Both should have 1.9 rack. The difference between mk1 and mk2 is appearance and extras. Read here: http://forums.mg-rover.org/showpost.php ... ostcount=6 We need more MG owners here
  5. I meant someone else to try it Because I need LHD rack, harder to find and not that cheaper. If I could get it for 15 pounds I would have bought it straight away. I asked a local breaker that deals only with Rovers and he said that he is 99% sure it will fit. But still I'm not sure.
  6. Still no answer on this ? I can't believe nobody tried this mod. There is a steering rack on ebay for only £15.39 !
  7. Nice mods there. I'm after quiet-performance too and I'm just 21, something's wrong with me Can you tell me what's the inlet diameter of the Integra back box ? Thanks.
  8. MB6 already has a rear tie bar. Front I don't think you'll notice it. A faster steering rack will be a good upgrade.
  9. That looks amazing and matches perfectly with the colour of the car. And the stitching on the door cards is awesome. I'm just not fond of the honda badges. How much did it cost ?
  10. I found only this, which states that D14 and D16Z6/Y8 have the same valve size which I think is strange. http://www.d-series.org/forums/955557-post14.html Cylinder Head Specs Valve Sizes D16A6 Intake......29mm Exhaust....25mm D16Z6 and Y8 Intake...30mm Exhaust....26mm
  11. Change the seats what can go wrong.. Apparently everything is not that simple on our M's, whyyy Anyway it really looks nice with the half leather. You're lucky you have the black interior. So are you saying you were able to pack all the seats in your car
  12. It will look something like this. This is with stock MG ZS mirrors, I haven't seen one with repeaters. But I think oem MB6 mirros look better
  13. Yeah do it. We use that list all the time, very useful
  14. Transmissions before 95 should use engine oil 10W40. But all 95-.. should only use Honda MTF. After 95 tranys have steel shift forks or something like that, before they were aluminium.
  15. Oh yes for 10 euros you can't go wrong I paid 55 euros for mine.. It depends on how the chassis is made, CRX is far different than ours. So you could have felt it there but not here. Yes rear arb is the best upgrade even not being mg zs. I just said the car might not be that stable without the thicker front arb. Be sure to check it on a safe terrain how it reacts.
  16. Mate I don't wanna ruin your hapiness but I had similar Tenzo R strut bar and I didn't notice any improvement at all and also a strut bar to be effective it should have no pivot points and to be as flat as possible (look at MB6 oem strut bar). Strut like this one are mainly for looks. Also look at MG ZS, it has perfect handling and no strut bar. Focus on the important things for handling like tires, good springs + shocks/coilovers, mg zs arbs. I sold mine and was thinking of installing MB6 strut bar but drilling holes in the towers which I am trying to make stronger seems unlogical. But that just my opinion, I'm sorry for flooding your project thread
  17. Most of the guys here are with MB6/MC2 which have 26mm arb at front as a standard My rear arb is from MG ZS. I think harVTEC has changed only the rear arb you can ask him how the car reacts.
  18. You will ruin the car balance. It will become a tail happy car. Maybe it won't be that obvious but you'll be safer with 26mm front. I personally changed the front and rear at the same time.

    MGZS ARB fix

  20. Yes MB6 front arb is thicker. MB6 - 26mm, MB3 - 18mm. If you add rear arb it's a must to change the front too.

    MGZS ARB fix

weetec I see you are trying to make the suspension work better and wanted to ask do you plan to the try the "swapping top arms mod" I really want to try this but I prefer someone do it before me

    MGZS ARB fix

Mine was installed with spacers. I don't know how's the situation with MB6 but with mine that's the only proper way to be installed and the drop links to be at 90 degrees.
  23. I'm thinking of doing this too but I'm not really handy with the tools :/ Anyway here's a website with really good info, it's about NSX but it's helpful: http://www.1017.org/nsx/BrakeMods/index.html They state a very interesting fact, just by removing the front splash guards front disc temperature is 150 degrees cooler And with Dali Deflectors, No Splash Guardsa and Homemade Brake Ducting the temperature was 200-250 cooler. That's a BIG improvement for a low cost. That's the way to get cooler brakes not grooved discs and etc..
  24. It's not that Sony is bad. JVC, LG, Philips also aren't bad but they are not the best thing you can buy. The average user will be happy with all brands but we should buy the best one for our money Here's a little comparison between Sony and Pioneer for similar models with USB and same price tag: Sony CDX-GT560UE Frequency response (20 Hz/20 kHz), dB -2.2 / -0.9 S / N ratio, 91.5 dBA Crosstalk (1 kHz) 100 dB Vibration, mm 210 The level of the linear output, 1.93 Power Output RMS (THD = 1%) 18.1 Pioneer DEH-3400UB Frequency response (20 Hz/20 kHz), dB -0.6 / -0.5 S / N ratio, 98.5 dBA Crosstalk (1 kHz), 97 dB Vibration, mm 210 The level of the linear output, 1.71 Power Output RMS (THD = 1%) 18.1 Source(Use google translate): http://magnitola.net/content/7964-cd-re ... sniki.html http://magnitola.net/content/7966-cd-re ... sniki.html
  25. I don't recommend you Sony. I heard many people saying that their sound improved a lot when going from Sony to Pioneer or Alpine. Can't point a model though but my advice is stay away from Sony.
