  1. Personally I'm not keen on the twin tails but it looks great quality and if you're happy with the way it sounds too, win.
  2. Bang on! I really like EK fans on M's, and yours is the second one this week btw.
  3. Feel free to geek out any time, you're in good company. I thought the roof looked odd on that one but I've never heard of anyone other than Crayford converting them. We'd love to see some pics of your old 'tinas.
  4. I know dude you're like a horny dog!
  5. I'm not a fan of the grill either, each to his own though. You need to pop a link to your bro's project thread with the pictures please.
  6. Damn, nice road like that, you've got the rozzers in front of you and the car's upside down!!
  7. You're welcome to put it in yourself chap. Anyone can do it.
  8. I wonder if it's possible to fit the lsd or maybe swap the ratios/final drive from the s4c into the s9b.
  9. That is some serious fabrication, good luck to you.
  10. We'll I have denso iridium plugs and magnecore leads, I've been told that standard ngk plugs are just as good but the car certainly feels smoother and more responsive with these.
  11. There's very few opportunities for that sort of behaviour. It does sound ideal.
  12. Erm, he's talking to you too Steve, I know you have links in your sig but they need to be in the post too.
  13. Damn, never mind eh! I've got a spare one too I might get that done as well.
  14. Actually it takes no time at all to get used to it. It would be difficult to compare to any of the above although I part exed my Rallye for a G60 (also LHD) which was running about 220bhp and that was f*cking rapid. But like Krzys said spending £10k on a Golf it would have to be spectacular. I'd be tempted to go for something very unique like Tom's suggestions.
  15. Only a very few of these cars have actual obd2 connectors, I think it may only be the MB4 but it's definitely only the very last of the production run (year 2000 cars). If your car has one it will be on the passenger side of the centre console, if not you'll have to bridge the pins on the connector like the rest of us, it's in the passenger footwell just under the glovebox, far left.
  16. You can and I certainly don't have massive plates. I do need to achieve quite an angle.
  17. LHD is actually not that bad to live with, especially if it's not your daily, I ran a Golf Rallye as a daily for about a year or so with a 40 some odd mile round trip commute. You get used to it.
