Cheers, lol, that seems to me where most of the tar build up is, because I do mine regularly, it doesn't take long to do the rest of the car. Thanks fella, they don't stand up to close scrutiny but I'm well happy especially with the money I've saved and you remember what they were like before.

That sounds nice, straight through centre pipe should make it a bit louder on crossover.
-
I'm sure you wouldn't, your still mint alloys are testament to that. Yeah but the 3dr looks so much nicer.
-
You have to make it your own.
-
Yes, they were originally owned by Rob (kyekye09) who had an MC1 with a D16 engine, the eibachs for the MB6/MC2 are -40mm. That's good to hear.
-
Yeah, mines about 60-65mm on the back, which I think makes a difference, it took me a few goes over a few weeks adjusting to get it where I wanted but not catching coming out of driveways or over speed bumps, I still have to be careful and it catches on some driveways where the camber change is quite aggressive and high speed bumps. I don't need to be as careful as Alex though!

mb6 insurance (moving to uk for some time and thinking of getting rhd mb6)
NIKH25 replied to matej's topic in Chat Lounge
As above, modified cars will cost more to insure. Many factors affect the premium, one of the main ones in the UK is the postcode. After that it's age, driver history, occupation, annual mileage, where the car's kept (during the day and overnight). I pay £420 for my MB6 all mods declared. -
Looking at it again, it looks a bit lower than mine on the back, front looks about the same.

I use Bilt Hamber bars, from Opie Oils, if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, they'll price match it. Bilt Hamber don't need special lubes, just water, I use a little bit of ONR added just to give it a bit more slippyness. Cheers mate. Yeah claying gives great results for not a lot of effort.

I know it's mad isn't it, you should definitely do it, it's well worth doing.

Good stuff.

My Civic MB2 Project! Discs and pads needed!

That's annoying can you raise it up a little so they can get to it, maybe they can make adjustments to allow for the extra lows.- 1,645 replies

Not much today, a wash and clay, amazing how much cr4p is collected over a short time (about 7 months since the last one), mostly the door bottoms. Also polished, waxed and unmasked the wheels and refitted the centre caps, ready to go.
-
Looking gorgeous as usual.

About time you put up a pic of your car.
-
That looks much better, I agree twin exit doesn't work too well. Don't worry about the neighbours, wait till about 2am and do a video revving the tits off it.

Not that expensive compared to some. Naf though.
-
Nice one, have you had a fiddle with the hardness settings yet?
-
It's possibly due to the fact the springs were for a d16 engined car, so the extra weight on the front is making it sit lower.
-
That is a shiny sump, a quick rub down and a lick of paint will sort that out.
-
You're way too close to that kerb for my comfort, I shuddered looking at the first pic.

C.O.T.M APRIL - Phill1975 is the winner!

No votes for Tom, I am actually shocked. -
Found it, unfortunately the pics have gone. http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5558-mgzs-arb-fix/?hl=mgzs Just make sure the drop links have some washers to space them out.

And suggested you're going to take it away.
