  1. Yeah mine were imported too. Amazing pads. Wouldn't use them on the road though. I only felt the worked effectively when upntoncorrect oppersrinng temp. No idea what that was but you had to give them some abuse before they'd bite well! Think hawk do a road pad, HPS iirc which are cheaper and supposed to be pretty good.

  5. Well if you've had experience mate then I can't argue. I've just a always been out off by other stories and the fact they are actually pretty expensive now. When I built the EK, I out blue print blanks on and my god didn't they take some abuse!! Hawk hp+ pads, braided lines and RBF600 fluid and it stopped on a penny!

  11. I thought it was pressure tested before it came off?? Which should rule out rings. Peculiar though why there's nothing showing visibly with the exhaust mani off though.
  12. Always helps to be able to stop! Lol Research is a must. There are so many builds out there, good and bad that you can learn from! Defo learn from others mistakes and don't make the same ones!

  14. Yeah there is a massive following for turbo D's. Non on here I don't think. But they are done pretty realibly too! Exactly Nick, by all accounts, obv I've not personally tested it, but pretty sure the stock c4 will take 300 reasonably easy
  15. b18c4 with a tdo4 (thats tt & s3 turbo isnt it?) would work well.. Obv with the right set up, decent intercooler, wastegate, injectors, chipped p28 etc etc will see a realiable 240 all day ..

  20. Personally wouldn't use EBC mate. Heard some not great things about them. The mtecs are a damn sight cheaper than the black diamonds too!
