Loving that the pressure is now on Alex
-
Well if there's ever an incentive to wake up, it's to work on the car
-
No pressure chaps eh!?! Lol
-
Don't think his prices are too bad.... But the correction is a little steep. I know it's a lot of work, but £500?? Hmmmm
-
That's a lot on one plate mate!! You've done really well!!
-
Glad that that's all it was mate! Although that is quite a scarey thought!!

Looking great !! Will look sweet when your done! -
Thats certainly one mean looking lip !
-
Its scarey stuff drilling holes in the boot! Will be a whole new lid if it goes wrong!
-
Looking well tidy mate .. Top work
-
I will be using the bolts .. Wouldnt hold on if it was just taped. I will however be putting some new tape on it, try and reduce the likely hood of rattles.. Plus i can blame him if it all goes wrong
-
Its actually surprisingly bulky lol
-
As above mate. Also check your tyre pressures.
-
I will indeed be on! Only reason it didn't go on while it was still drying was because I'm going over the Alex's on Thursday to give me a hand! Don't fancy doing it on my own! Lol.
-
Well its painted lol
-
Great to hear mate! Once you see the results and see some other cars gleaming it should give you some motivation!!
-

Anyone else see poor vtec2011 (Kyfer) on FB?? :-( -
In all honesty mate, im not sure what i could do different! Primer went down well, sanded back so it was smooth as a babies bum.. Colour went on well, again slight brush over with some 1500 and was smooth as hell too .. It was the top coat. I think that maybe lacquer doesnt like being in a can .. I may bite the bullet at somepoint and get it done profesionally .. When i have skirts and decided whether im going lips too ..

Ah no need to brick it mate! Sure it'll be fine! Most of the vac hoses etc kind of only go one way anyway! Plus there are manuals etc about that could help!
-
Looking grand matey. Such a lot of work dissembling and re assembling! Besides the crank pulley & bolt, any hick ups?? Or all come undone nicely?
-
If it's any consolation Nick, my spoiler has done the same! Orange peel in the lacquer. Doesn't look too noticeable though mate!?
