  2. I sometimes like the 'rally look' and leave it sometimes....but that has been like that for days and had to clean it on monday
  3. Fair doos! Each to their own n all that
  4. Not sure if this link still works (works computer blocks it now) http://www.toyosport...10399-677-p.asp
  5. I have a Toyosports 4-1 manifold. Its been on my car for over 2 years and no problems so far You will defo need a different flange from the cat to the downpipe as aftermarket manifolds wont fit original cat. John, get a custom de-cat silencer (as I mentioned to you). Those mods will work well.
  6. The rover rear calipers look the same as my MB6 ones but ended up going to Dingbro as didn't want hassle matching stuff up! There's a helpful list somewhere here listing compatible parts. I'm using my mobile to type this otherwise I would post a link to the said list
  7. Nope, you are the master! I never saw the ball joints separate, just the kit! So they look the same but are indeed better. I emailed Funky power with my warranty issue only today. I shall ask if i can get warranty on ball joints alone rather that the complete arms. Doubt it as I bought the full arms but worth a shout and could pay extra to get the uprated ones Good find mate
  8. Having just looked at the company that I bought them from, they do a skunk 2 'pro-series' one. The upper ball joint looks the same but the rest is different, would be the same result I think even fitting the pro-series ones. May be wrong though.
  9. Yeah, they have taken a pounding but should be designed for that. You have mentioned an upgraded upper joint? That would explain the standard one being pish then if you can buy upgraded ones!!! It's the hassle of buying another pair and then getting them fitted...especially at xmas time. Just my luck
  10. My front adjustable Skunk 2 camber kit ball joints are both fecked Took my car to get it's tracking done and the guy looked into why it was pulling to the left in the first place, found both upper ball joints have play. Bought parts in January 2014 so should have some warranty on them seeing there under a year. Just hassle fitting them...AGAIN! Probably knackered due to suspension being quite hard and low....but then I thought they were designed for that stuff? Oh well
  11. Not good news. Would it not be worth a phone call to your local Honda dealer? They might have an idea of the problem. Some dealers may be strict and only help if the car is there and charge you labour but woth asking? Also, if your in the motor trade, they will give trade discount on labour...like i get from my local dealer. May be worth handing it into Honda and telling them to spend a couple of hours on it. That way they can fix it or tell you the problem. That is what i would do if all avenues are exhausted.
  12. Really nice job mate! Sits perfectly, no need to lower further imo. Loving the shotgun shell wheel nuts! Uber cool

  14. Good luck with the new pad Spam will be down 99% if your away
  15. Xmas is looming, need to do it before the xmas payday or all money goes on family!
  16. I'm sure that if the tyre was proper odd looking then the coppers will act. A simple tyre wall/width difference should not be on their radar. Personally, i think the cars look nice with a slight stretch, but not some of the crazy stretched tyres you see on some forums + pictures. The people driving these type of cars are mostly always into cruising and not heavy hooning, so i would imagine as there is no hard evidence that this type of thing causes mass carnage and fatalities, then it should be up to the discression of the police how to deal with each situation.
  17. There is a nut and bolt at the bottom of the gear shift lever (right underneath and above exhaust). I fitted a short shifter and found that the gear lever rattles and was quite loose. A simple tighten of the bolt solved it for me. Hope this puts you in the right direction
