all i can say is wow this car looks spotless and some quality thought out mods. stunning mate!!

this year i have a few plans no where near as much as last year arm rest and cup holders new gear knob s/s mid pipe rear tie bar short shifter fog lights and probably need a casual service and belts/water pump needing done looking forward to this year its going to be a good one!

its worth slamming with steelies to start with! thats what i did, it doesnt look that bad.

fair enough you just need to make a decision, do you want nice spanking wheels while handling like a boat still lol or alright wheels but having good handling and nice ride height i know what i would go for because i did it first

common bad points are rusty rear arches, look out for wet carpet in the passenger footwell, fan speeds not working on 1+2 but thats a simple fix

coilovers - DONE! new tyres for my alloys - DONE! lug nuts for alloys - DONE! mg zs arb - DONE! maybe vti-s kit (if i can find one cheap enough) - not found one cheap enough lol get rid of the wood trim! - DONE! new number plates - DONE! general service - DONE! silvatec bulbs for repeaters - DONE! HID's - changed my mind i thought i did quite well this year and did a lot more than i thought i would! you really do get carried away sometimes

im looking at some cheap alloys my friend is going to sell me and they are 4x100, 14" et38 but the bit that worries me that the centre bore is 57.1 and i'm right in saying our centre bore is 56.1? would that make a huge difference? do you think they would fit ok and you probably dont get spigot rings that small. thanks

little update - ever since i installed the decat the EML has been going on and off every so often so thanks to kyekye recommendation ive installed a spacer on the lambada sensor and now its gone off for good also did a ecu reset after all the new mods i have done and its running super smooth throughout the rev range! all i need to do now is give her a wash as she is very dirty! -

im liking the polo and the volvo is something else! you dont see many of them modified and the front end swap looks like it is a must! really like what you have done with it so far and looking forward to more updates, i seem to be going through a phase now where i love old grandad estate cars
