    I think its just my phone which has exaggerated the rear lights... Am toying with rear lamp mod soon anyways so we'll see how they look then ... thanks, its a shame the exterior isn't as tidy, with every panel/door needing either repairs or replacement lol! But for now I just need to get it running right!

    Lol its a road name sign which i saw at work and made me chuckle so i nabbed it and stuck it on my bench haha!Also a couple of my bay cleaned up after the numerous coolant showerings it recieved!

    Yeah am aware about the g/box oil, will get a fresh lot when i do the shafts! Got the bulbs fitted, not used in pitch black yet but they seem like an improvement already! Headlight shot and a few extra shots...

    Shafts waiting to be fitted... And my ring xenon bulbs cane through today! Already fitted but will get a fitted photo after dark!

    He didnt remember the secret knock for the back door ANYWAY!! Lol... Two shafts were in the package... They look top notch so thank you whoever it was who linked me about 4 pages back! What are they like to do lads? I got a haynes that i'll have a butchers at but i presume its pretty straight forward... Shafts out, shafts in, top up g/box oil, job jobbed!! ???

    Yeah, ive had a look on the facebook page also and all the lads are saying theres alot more with a decat on! So i can stop worrying for now!! Just had a big long package turn up for me though... Fun times!!

    Maybe ill take a little vid of the smoke during the afternoon when the suns out n not too cold and let you guys decide wether its excessive or not... Hopefully they'll be decent i should get the early next week

    I've been thinking of that possibilty for a while now, but on my way home this afternoon, again i was smokey as anything, and NO other car i saw had excess exhaust vapor due to the cold... Which leads me to think bad things about the head gasket!

    I went for the rings i showed in the end... I have heard good things in other threads so we'll see how they go! Just want to be able to see at night and be legal... Is that too much to ask haha! Its funny, i got HIDs so i can see better, only 6000's, but they'll get me points on my license... But if i use standard bulbs, which provide a dangerously low level of light, but are legal, i'll be alright in the eyes of the law! How does that work... What about the fox that jumped out that i couldnt see till last minute and swerved into an on coming car which caused three fatalities!!! Oh never mind, his bulbs were legal! Lol Anyway, im finding that my deck is extremely smokey, all of the time.... Whats this down to? White smoke by the way.

    Hunting for decent headlight bulbs... My cheapo HID kit aint cutting it anymore! Lol Are these my best bet or can i get better??

    Im guessing it was trapped air, i ran it at work for 20 mins with the rad cap off untill i had no bubbles popping out... It stopped bubbling and im sitting at home with it idling now and no repeat of the temp rising as it did last night! Think its solved now! Cheers lads for the help and assistance!! Next on the shopping list... Two brand new shafts! :)

    It took a while for the hot coolant to activate the new stat so for ages the bottom pipe stayed cold and no fan with air bubnles coming out of rad... Eventually i got hot air out of heaters, bottom pipe got hot and rad fan cane on... Now that the coolant has circulated properly under driving conditions, tomorrow im going to have a play with removing any more air and getting the level right! fingers crossed lads!

    Just arrived home, ride is much better now... Very smooth so im happy on thst front. But i thiught i'd see what my engine temp does if i just sat here for a few minutes letting it idle... Without the heater going the engine temp goes right up?? Not sure why this is, any help much appreciated!

    Thats what i thought krzys! I'll have a little price up at some point to see if its worth it!On a brighter note... New upper arms fitted! New track rod ends fitted! New thermostat fitted and refilled with coolant to save it getting crappy again! Previous owner must have just kept topping it up with water!! Lol About to leave work and hopefully enjoy the non-knocky non-rickety journey home on my fresh ball joints!! Happy days, shes back on track!

    Looking forward to neon pics.. And the wireless key fob unit, do you mean like the hawk central locking kit I installed on mine? If similar would be good to see how others have installed theirs
