Maybe thats where im going wrong i was joining them 'TO' the door lock wires rather than cutting them and joining onto them... Using the top left 'negative locking' diagram here... I'll have another bubble tomorrow

Yeah i think helper springs are the way forward for me to be honest! And with the hawk, what did you fit it to... Your mb?? Do you have your coloured wire diagram by any chance?? Ive emailed Hawk requesting it but no luck yet

As long as its road safe i personally cant see a problem with lowering when MOT is concerned?? -
Looking good pal, first time ive come across your build thread... God knows why but it all looks very good mate!!! Great choice of rocker cover colour too

They're only cheap tuning art coilovers... But im going to leave them for now till i get my extended wheel nuts as im chewing these nuts up getting them on n off!!! Lol will get stuck with them on if im not lucky lol!! Anyway, with the hawk central locking... Ive wired it all up as the booklet said (leaving out the window delay, hazard flash and boot release for now) and its getting a response from the fob, and led coming on when locked etc but im getting nothing out of the box with the wires that are suppose to go to the the lock actuator??? Does anyone know if we have negative feed locking or positive locking type? A bit confused.com here lool :S !!!

If you look at this on the right the main spring has a thinner spring under it, thats a helper spring

Ok thanks i'll look into it or drop @Chandler a pm For now im back on my mgzs fronts and wound the rears up as ive noticed i need the helper springs for the fronts which is why it sits so low.... Also they're proper solid over bumps, no give at all but the helper springs would mean i wont have to wind em up so much to get the height i want Aaanyway... Ive got a Hawk central locking kit... Hoping to fit today or tomorrow... Looks rasy enough but is there anything i should take into account before i crack on??

Great news on the brakes pal, hopefully they harden up a bit... Unless you messed around with the handbrake adjustment before fitment as @burbleboy stated above lol!

Well i had about quarter thread left to go... So about 15 - 20 threads... Wound em all the way up and has made about 5mm difference, if that?? Offside doesn't rub at the moment but the nearside is sitting 2mm lower for some reason?? So still rubs when turning right... Is there a technique to doing this or have i just got really low coilovers?? Lol Im hoping if i let them settle a couple days the nearside front might lift a touch and even out but dont feel confident! Lol

Cheers lads, i think when i get the arches rolled i'll see how i go by tucking the liners in. If they still scuff then i'll cross that bridge when it comes haha!!! Don't like the idea of having no liner in there tbh!!
