  1. Minor victory today! The alarm in my car was installed by one of the previous owners before the car became ours in 2006. We had no paperwork about the make and model, no codes and no instruction manual. All I had to go off was the "Laserline" logo on the fobs! A few months ago the arm/disarm button on one of the fobs broke and the other was getting bad as well. It worked but it'd arm/disarm the alarm whenever it felt like so I'd spend about a minute fighting my alarm and then running away so I was out of range before it unlocked the car again! So I got in touch with a company that deals in replacement fobs and told them about my problems. They guided me through how to find my alarm model and what fob I needed to buy (there's like 3 of the same fob, but with different internals for different alarms) and they told me what alarm I had and what fob I needed to buy! Got the new fob through the post, programmed it using the old remote and now I'm back to locking my car and walking away in confidence.
  2. In-car PlayStation? That always kept me amused on long journeys!
  3. I got my VTiS kit from a dude in Durham. Nice drive, lots of winding A roads.

    MB6 gear knob

That's what I have in my MB6. Much more comfortable to use than the standard VTi knob.
  5. The one I got it from was non-turbo. V211 GHH was the reg on it if that helps. I didn't use it on the car, I used it on the mudflap after I got it off. Stress relief.
  6. It looks like the lacquer is damaged on the polished part. Might want to add the cost of refurbing them to that £100. Definitely 56.1mm, I had to order spigot rings for my MB3.
  7. Can't go wrong with those wheels! Hub size of your car will be 4x100 PCD and 56.1mm centre bore.
  8. Round 2 with the mudflap of horror! The result? Yeah you sit there and think about what you've done. So with that out of the way, here's the final piece of the puzzle fitted nice and squarely. Top picture was taken after I stuck the top edge of the lip down. So it's not sagging anymore. Always had people asking why my exhaust sat so far out of the bumper. This is why, so it fits perfectly under the lip. And a couple of complete shots just to complete my weekend of productivity.
  9. Not on the floor, maybe just 35/40mm lower? Well I do actually have the bumper off the other car, with the cold air funnel still attached. I was thinking of using it for when I go Santa Pod or trackdays, where I can use my long arm intake without worrying about water.
  10. I'll try that tomorrow if the WD40 didn't work. Cheers dude.
  11. So after months of waiting, I finally got my hands on a full VTiS kit in Sicilian Red. The skirt has a few scuffs, but nothing some touch up paint shouldn't fix. Already looking better. Other side done! The moment I tried on the VTiS front splitter, I just fell in love with how aggressive the front end of the MB6 looked. The front lip had the usual scuffs and chips, but it also had this cut out of it. The previous car it was on ran a cold air feed so the lip was cut around the funnel. I'm going to cover it with black tape and then just actually fix it later down the line. Really needs lows now. Ooooft. I do have a rear lip to go on, but one of my mudflaps is being a b****r and wont come off. I've soaked the offending screws in WD40, so hopefully that works.
  12. Do you have pictures of underneath the damaged area and also the camber arms?
  13. I've always thought exactly what that post is saying. We can run decent camber without sacrificing tyre life. It's toe that kills tyres quickly.
  14. That looks really cool! Looks better to the side, in the middle would look a bit weird.
  15. Ditto. The only time I notice it is when I bang my leg on it when I'm putting stuff in the boot.
  16. I actually printed out the MB Accessory Brochure 2000 when it was available on Honda's site. Been using it as a checklist more than anything.
