snakey135
wow when you compare the headlights on the car like that you see how much better they look blacked out! good job! keep a look out on eBay as there are some bargains to be had with coilovers! Thanks craig!! Yeah i fitted one lamp and saw how much of a differance it made so had to photo it!!! Like a few photos me, if you hadn't noticed lol!!Is it legal to remove the silencer and fit straight pipe? The headlights look brilliant mate...and the xenon bulbs go really well with them...also top job wrapping the plug cover...looking forward to the new carbon wrapping pics Not sure, i think its fine aslong as it passes emissions... Which it never passed anyway even with original system lol!... Thanks about lights, as i said bulbs are great for what i paid so well in! Wrapping a few parts SLOWLY... Never have a few hours to just sit down n get stuck in so gta do it all bit by bit!! Annoying but i'll get there... What im wrapping currently is a right royal pain in the sitter though!! snakey135
Hey guys, just got a few questions if someone would be most kind...Firstly, ive had it up to here (putting hand way above my head incase you wanted to know how high ive had it up to... Lol) with the squealing of these brakes... They have no shims but i have well copper slipped them up but that made no difference! Its a pain because there's loads left on the pads ive got so dont really want to have to buy a new pad set just to stop the noise!! Any ideas how to eliminate it at all???Also, as i left work earlier i booted it to make a gap onto main road and as i accelerated in first, got upto about 4-5 thou and it felt like it was holding back slightly, as if clutch was slipping a bit, then picked up after 5 thou, changed up, and picked up fine all the way and was fine once warmed up....Ive done a 2nd gear handbrake stall test and the clutch grabbed and she stalled fine... Is it because i tried pulling power from her before she warmed up or is it a sign of the clutch giving in as i dont think its been changed for 5 or so years?Cheers lads! Also attempted cam seal the other day but skunk2 one doesn't pop in just like the oem one pops out... Turns out i got to remove cam housing which means needing precise torque settings to put back together and maybe needing to be re-timed up!! Soo that will have to hold for a little bit till i got the kit needed to tackle it!
matty1
Had the same thing, until that little coolant dial is actually on the marker it won't VTEC, it's annoying, but good for the engine.
snakey135
Yeah, hoping thats the reason it felt like it was slipping for a second!!But if it was just VTEC not kicking surely car should act as normal without the extra oomph... Dont think i'd get a slipping feel just cause it aint VTECing?? And after that it was fine... Acted normally in second all the way up too straight after! On snother note, tried wrapping civic badge last night... Gave up.. Far too fiddly!! Lol think i'll stick to bigger components n just spray the civic badge black lool!!!
Mr Brown
PMSL!!!! Thats the spirit LOL... prob not the best thing to learn on mate although i not done fiddly bits myself yet those who have wrapped their H badge all said it was tricky to do.. snakey135
Haha yeah ive done a H too and was tricky, but doable!! Dont think the civic is doable if you want it decent anyway... Unless you get it dipped of course! Im thinking blue and carbon rear H badge.... Any opinions?
Mr Brown
Sounds good to me i think best bet is to just go for it and see when its fitted as i did with my custom grill badge, i bet you will fit it stand back and think yes thats awsome...
