Ok thanks i'll look into it or drop @Chandler a pm :)

For now im back on my mgzs fronts and wound the rears up as ive noticed i need the helper springs for the fronts which is why it sits so low.... Also they're proper solid over bumps, no give at all but the helper springs would mean i wont have to wind em up so much to get the height i want :)

Aaanyway... Ive got a Hawk central locking kit... Hoping to fit today or tomorrow... Looks rasy enough but is there anything i should take into account before i crack on??

@KiNK43 should know the answer to this. :)

Are these helper springs something that came with your suspension kit then? Never heard of them myself.

They're only cheap tuning art coilovers... But im going to leave them for now till i get my extended wheel nuts as im chewing these nuts up getting them on n off!!! Lol will get stuck with them on if im not lucky lol!!

Anyway, with the hawk central locking... Ive wired it all up as the booklet said (leaving out the window delay, hazard flash and boot release for now) and its getting a response from the fob, and led coming on when locked etc but im getting nothing out of the box with the wires that are suppose to go to the the lock actuator??? Does anyone know if we have negative feed locking or positive locking type?

A bit confused.com here lool :S !!!

i got helper springs on my tein super streets. they are a good idea if your low anyway stop the spring becoming unseated if you catch some air.

get stuck in with the hawk kit its a doddle if you got the paper work with wiring colours etc from them.

im gonna fit another soon in me new daily runabout

Yeah i think helper springs are the way forward for me to be honest!

And with the hawk, what did you fit it to... Your mb?? Do you have your coloured wire diagram by any chance?? Ive emailed Hawk requesting it but no luck yet

Maybe thats where im going wrong i was joining them 'TO' the door lock wires rather than cutting them and joining onto them...

Using the top left 'negative locking' diagram here...

I'll have another bubble tomorrow :)
