I have forgot to mention you will need adapter rings! I used Vauxhall Astra / Corsa speaker adapters which I picked up from Halfords for £10.

You will have to drill one hole in the door itself to properly fit the adapter. I got it all on my project thread somewhere. I will get you a link!

Ah! Would these fit you think?

I reckon they will fit but I am not 100% sure!

Took me ages to find the page where I fitted the 6.5 speakers but here is the link. Might have to scroll down a fair bit :)

To save searching....

If you leave anyone standing first, you're the winner. No comebacks...

Well I managed to fit the speakers after breaking a couple drill bits, working in the dark and freezing my a$$ off! But apart from that it was pretty easy!

After tuning to default settings I decided to blast out some Pendulum and... WOW! What an improvement! Its got nice mid-range punchy bass and very crystal clear notes. Should sound better once the speakers have bedded-in!

Thanks to KiNK43 and Mr.Brown, I wouldn't have done it today without their help!  :)

I was also looking at those, they're the right size but you'll probably have to drill the holes so you can attach it to your door and then the speaker to it but should sound good as it'll be better than the plastic adaptor! (I think!)

I don't have a drill remember. And after what Kyfer said I don't fancy borrowing someone else's just to break their drill bits. Would superglue hold those Astra rings on?

It would probably stay on with two screws dude but you could glue it as well?

Great. :D

Think these are the ones. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Astra-F-G-Zafira-Omega-Vectra-B-Speaker-Adaptors-Rings-165mm-6-5-/261044008663?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3cc76f76d7

Get one. And you won't break bits on MDF.
