  3. There's some merit in what the guys are saying. Policing the entries may not be such a big problem, could have a sticky thread with the previous years winners which can be referred to (Most likely by intelligent people, should we find any) so that entrants are legitimate. We already have to make sure cars that have won aren't submitted more than once in the same year which does still occasionally happen anyway so it wouldn't be much extra work.

  6. Most of that I suspect could be translated into English..... I think, if I've gotten the gist of it, you probably need to a new solenoid from what I can make out.

  8. I think it's a good point in principle, but think it will be difficult for it to work. It would mean that before any newer members entered a car belonging to someone else, they would need to go looking back through the list of last years cotm winners. It's sometimes hard enough getting folk to read the basics of the site, but to make sure they have done their homework before entering a car for the comp will be very hard. The thing is, the comp isn't based on the car thats had the most/latest mods over a certain time frame, it's just all about members seeing a particular car they really like, or indeed their own car. But I think a lot of members think that because they havent maybe done a lot of mods to their car, they can be reluctant to enter their own car. Which is sad, as theres a hella lot of members joined recently with relatively standard civics that are ultra clean. It doesnt matter what your cars like, or one that you like the look of........if you like it, enter it chaps (and chappess's) Every car in this club is worthy of winning the competition imo

  9. Love the itr wheel mate. Looks top. Re brakes, unfortunate, honda really fecked up with the rear brakes on ours. They are all poor.

  12. Very nice car man, the front grille and VTI-S kit makes it look mean as fk. The exhaust fitment is so clean as well. Love it! Agree with you in regards to lowering the car though. Always confuses me when I see cars slammed with crazy amounts of camber and a gutted interior and a crazy motor in it. I mean whats the point in spending all that money on making it go fast when you'd rip off the front bumper if you drove over a piece of chewing-gum? Anyway to each their own I guess .

  32. Gloss varnish? What are you painting, wood? You need lacquer to make the smooth shiny finish. There are a few threads debating when is best to apply it.

  33. He has had one before the R26 230 Bhp version, had the typical Renault electrical issues but generally it was okay to drive. I haven't been for a drive in the one although the F1 edition is without LSD, can't imagine it to any good honestly. I was glad I didn't buy the R26 as I was looking to buy it originally, I think they are too flimsy and stock they are not very lively. Couple of bits arrived and done! I will refurb the thread on the momo wheel (easy way is to clean it and use red permanent marker). Still awaiting some climair deflectors, Clutch will be fitted after I return from my holiday now. Came suprisngly quick, I only ordered it yesterday and they messaged me back asking for my reg to confirm that it was the right part for my car. Was here by midday! Some quick service and the price is amazing!

  34. lol they wouldn't be the first eBay company to have done that. Are you really splitting yours and selling it when you get back from your trip? I drove mine home from the garage yesterday, all clean, great weather, music blasting, and it reminded me how much I love it......just as long as I don't start smoking.

  36. Well, there is enough space if you move heater panel approx 5-6cm lower than it is in original. First I did was to unscrew the heater panel and srew it to thesame holes but lower. This way ideal 2 DIN hole was created. I purchased a spare console just to cut the down part of the radio frame - so from 2 consoles (2 orginal frames) i created one which looks close to OEM frame.
