Don't get the wrong idea. This car has so many scars it's Rediculous. But maybe ya shouldn't go look at a car in the snow Ay. But anyway I don't mind. I'm over it. Just want to get the engine bay a bit more presentable. And try and protect the shell make it last.2 points

Wheels and tyres arrived today, delivery man decided to scare the hell out of everyone at 7am banging on the door like it was the end of the world, haha. Went to fit them but found the spigot rings were a size too big, so rang Rim-Style and they promised they'll get the proper ones shipped out today which isn't too bad. Hopefully they come tomorrow so I can get them on. Only took one wheel off but it had no weights on it and the tyre was showing canvas so hopefully these will sort out the skitishness at motorway speeds. Might stop spinning when pulling off at normal speeds as well Couple of pictures of the exhaust:2 points

Recently there was a law change in Bulgaria. Now we need to drive with low beams always on throughout the whole year Projectors HID light is almost invisible in daylight but the police doesn't care. The problem with this law is that HID bulbs quickly get dimm. Expect a lot of brightness decrease after about 600 hours. (I can post a picture of the difference if anyone is interested) And OEM bulbs cost around 60 pounds. (And I plan to upgrade to CBIs which cost 80+ pounds) I don't want to pay this price every two years. My only choice now is DRLs which I hate. Most of them look really cheap and spoil the look of the car. But I bought Philips Daylight 8. They are the most stealth looking drl I've found. I bought them at a bargain price with the idea to sell them if I don't like them. So they arrived today and I test fitted them in two locations. Now I need your advice, should I keep them and what position is better ?2 points

Okay, here's my thread back. Most of you already know the car. It is a perfect example of how you can waste a lot of money transforming a MB3 in MB6+ when you can just get an MB6.. but where's the fun in that. It was a bone stock MB3 with boring exterior and interior: Now it looks like this: - Exterior - Interior - Lighting - Acceleration Complete list of mods: [Exterior]VTI-S front and rear lipMG ZS side skirtsMG ZS side repeatersMB6 headlight washersMB6 SpoilerRover 400 heated side mirrorsJazz washer jets[interior] Complete conversion from gray to black interiorMG ZS carbon effect trimsMG ZS rubber matsMB6 semi-leather seatsMB6 leather armrestMB6 gearknobIntegra DC2 steering wheel[Engine - D15Z8]D16Z6 starter 4-2-1 Twister exhaust manifold Bad exhaust system with different sizes + restrictive Supersprint backboxD16Z6 Intake manifold ITR Airbox with CAI extension and ITR intake hoseHybrid gearbox 3.250, 1.900, 1.346, 1.033, 0,702, FD 4.437 Exedy 08022 clutch (made in Japan)VTEC - D16Z6 camshafts + rockers arm assembly + injectors 240cc + adjustable cam gear + P28 ECU [Lighting]Moman plasma dialsLED illuminated green buttonsUV illuminated needlesAccord interior light with 96 LEDsRear interior lights from BMWCustom led boot lightsBosch Compact 100 FogsProjectors retrofit (FX-R3 2.5", Hella gen 3 ballasts, Philips 85122+ bulbs, Morimoto harness, E55-R shrouds)Osram diadem chrome repeatersPhilips Daylight 8 DRL[suspension and Braking]MG ZS 180 shocks and springs with ZS120 front springs Front arb 26mm from MB6 + Rear arb 20mm from ZS18015" Artec wheels MX 7,1kg15" Uniroyal Rainsport 2 195/50 EBC Solid front and rear rotorsTRW Pads[Audio]Kenwood KMM-361SDMorel Tempo 6 front speakersMB6 tweeters Plans now are - get my first job and save for B18C4 which of course I won't leave stock.1 point

Love the FN2 mate, yours looks a minter. I had my uncles for 2 months whilst he was in another country on business and every problem you're describing I experienced when driving it. It had a flat spot after fitting the HKS RSK and then the K&N Apollo but once he'd fit a flash-pro and had it mapped it sorted out the problem. Not sure if you're running an aftermarket intake but it could be something to look into. The Kangarooing stuff was awful as well, a touch too much throttle when cold and I'd be bouncing down the road with people looking at me. Don't know if he got that sorted but it was annoying. His gearbox wasn't too bad but changing from 2nd into 3rd at the redline would crunch sometimes. Some Redline MTF sorted that to a degree. The creaky suspension was fixed by having the subframe dropped and re-greased. Yours looks great though mate, I'd definately try and get those problems sorted so it runs perfect because despite what Clarkson and some EP3 owners say, it's actually a fantastic mix of performance and style/comfort (never drove it on stock suspension).1 point

Had a mega busy day actually. Mainly wanted to start rust proofing. Stone chipped the whole front area. Removed the air con ready for a turbo. Some plonker had put coolant in the washer bottle. That's all come out for a clean anyway. Also cleaned and sealed the rear arches and realigned the rbumper rear bumper. Fitted new oem rad hoses and new clips. Went and picked up a bag of new bolts replace all those crusty bolts on there. Work in progress!1 point

Thanks for the comments lads The wheels are 16x7.0" and the tyres are 205/45/16 so I do think they are a bit wider than the standard wheels. I'm from Manchester mate, so not sure if I'm that close to you.1 point

It would appear that my comment did imply all traders but I was I fact referring to the main thread story. I was not having a go at all the traders. I was simply referring to Opie Oils having cheaper oil (without civic5 discount code) elsewhere. I saved money on my Meister R's with the club discount so I wasn't tarnishing all our sponsors. I felt that we were not getting a great deal with Opie Oils and was sharing my thoughts, as that's what a forum is for. We can't all go around agreeing with everything and nodding1 point

I like the engine bay mate.. I was thinking of buying simota induction kit but someone told me it's made of plastic and not as good as the carbon one so I didn't buy it. What's your feedback about it?1 point

hahaha or ye course they are. cant belive I never thought about that, they light up course they would have bulbs in went for a drive to coast with my mate a couple weeks ago hes got a 350z with the gay top. but its fast so kinda makes up for the fact. wasn't very fast on the wet twisty roads on way to mablethorpe though haha. there where ment to be 100+ cars meeting at Sheffield for a drive to coast there ended up been 6 cars so on the way down m180 we decided to leave and take our own root. bit wobbly pic but it was very cold this is on way back home in gainsbrough looked like it had just snowed, not so good in 3501 point

Update: Got the new wheels, test fitted in driveway, not happy because the rear arch gap is too big and I want it lower. So got EG springs off a mate very cheap which surprisingly dropped the rear much more than expected. The front remained the same. The ride wasn't good compared to old set up, very bouncy so I was still on the hunt for coilovers. Anyways went ahead and fitted the new wheels. I then got BBS centre caps. I also got a new OMP steering wheel and arm rest fitted. Coilovers next. Also will get new fog lights as mine cracked and colour code the grill.1 point
