  6. Ok so I am getting a bit bored of my alloys. .I have been trying to find another set as the 15 inch Toyota mr2 ones I bought didn't fit and I don't know what to do with them so for now I have started refurbing my Momos Used nitromors but all the paint didn't come off so I used wire wool first and then a scraper Cleaned up as much as I could and then sanded and ready for primer More will follow once I have finished all of them

  12. I like Grid V's. A victim of their own success. They look wonderful on almost any car. imo, the edit above is a couple to a few inches too big. I think you should slap on some 16x8s and sink it down on coilovers

  15. A very useful tool. For comparison i've got 17x8.5 ET37 with 195/40 rubber in the rear. No arch roll, and they fit with no rub. Barely. But go for 9's if you can! The front will be interesting, though.

  18. The car wieghs 1280kg with all the daily driving gumf ,sub/some fuel/spare wheel etc, so with that removed getting close to 1250kg. So good power to weight. Considering a BMW of a similar spec will be 1500kg to put that in to perspective.

  25. OEM from John Banks Honda will cost you around £55 for the two so that's a decent saving.

  26. Making a quick list of things that I want done before Japfest. - Black surround headlights - Mesh grill - Dechrome - Cat-back exhaust - Audio - A bloody good clean and polish!! I'd love to have lows but I don't think I can afford Meisters so soon, maybe in time for Japfest2.

  27. To be honest I'd like to get both at the same time. A set of Jordans have been offered to me, cheap too, but I just dont have enough money for them. Im fussy on wheels so its hard to find sets I like!

  31. You know on the rota site you can upload a photo of your car and try them on. 9" wide is going to need some work to fit.

  33. properly gutted. that set off a bit of a dodgy car history - 1.6 J reg cavilier with the best reg ever (J460 CUM) which I found didn't have an air filter in when I went to change it... explains the clouds of black smoke that used to belch out of it! in the end it got scrapped because of the longest MOT fail list ever (they had to write on the back of the sheet). next up was a 1.4 pug 306 (though it did have a lush momo steering wheel) that I ran until the clutch went, then scrapped it (but didn't retrieve the wheel - DOH!). then I got a 1.8 Carina with 190k on the clock, which was mint for covering the 350 miles a week I was doing on the commute, and had a HUGE boot. Eventually the o2 sensor went which was going to cost £400 to sort (only paid £300 for the car). I went to look at a volvo at the garage to trade the Carina in, but saw the deck and then the VTI sign, and then googled it and here I am. test drive sold it all day

  36. What I would try is. Where the back box is take the horn live off and the one from the main loom tape them together and try the horn that way. If works prob that relay

  37. No, you need 1 channel per speaker or set of components. Eg if the amp is 2x150w it will supply a pair of speakers/component set with 150w each or it can be bridged (taking the + feed from one channel and the - feed from the other) to make a single channel of 300w. If you want to amp a set of component speakers and a sub you really want a 4 channel amp with one pair of channels to the front components and the other pair bridged to the sub.
