  1. Time wise I think we will need to put a limit on it as we'll need to get the floral tribute in time for the funeral, so I'll have to find out details for that etc see if we will be able to get it done. But can leave the donation running for a bit after that, then once it seems to have had all donations in, the total left over after flowers will be sent to Sue, his Mrs.

  2. I was the same as your wife when I had standard lights with the black mesh grill. Just doesn't look 100% right. Once you change the headlights though, there's no doubts.

  6. Or get yourself a spare lump (Bottom end) Then you can seperate it in stages .. Get the kit on and running on standard and then slowly gather the bits to rebuild the spare bottom end ..

  7. Cant imagine how difficult it must be for them .. I did see on FB that Sue (his wife) had said that anyone who knew Nick was welcome to come along and she'll post up details of his funeral when she knows more details ..

  12. I'm defiantly getting a impact driver because I struggle taking the bloody torxs / screws off customers cars Been a good day today though! The hand-brake cable came and it was the right one this time. So that's everything back together and I was really looking forward to driving the Deck home I also bought a MB6 VTi lip off ebay, CHEAP! And been informed that I will be working full time starting Tuesday (Beggining of next month) because the apprenticeship course ends on Monday. So that means I should be getting a better wage *Opens new tab* *Ebay* *Coilovers*

  13. Still I think I'm jealous. Sold all my bits bar the turbo itself. Made a killing actually. Which was nice but still dream of boost

  14. Even if your running 7-8 psi. Waste gate is letting out at 8 psi but turbo is still winding up to and producing max pressure. Don't think 250hp would affect the reliability of the engine itself much if tuned well and cooling took care of. Obviously a cheap turbo and affiliated bits may end up dieing a death if driven daily. But kinda to be expected. I think that's why racetech use td05 because it proven in the EVO etc. Obviously mitsubishi have to offer a warranty on an engine that's likely thrashed and not cooled down etc.

  15. Thats a shame mate .. Perhaps you could strip them down (or partially) and grease the sliders enough to get it through ?

  17. Well im sure we'll find out at some point I know that ARC do a black one already .. Which is alloy so must be painted! But yeah i get the idea with leaving it on display ! Yeah exactly .. For me and the research ive done, the Turb, Mani, Injectors & external wastegate (if your running one) are the things that really need to be good quality and branded ..

  19. I thought the JDM was the C1? Or was that the yank? Like i said, not sure how much of an advantage a Teg bottom end would be, unless your looking at the head too .. For me, I want to keep with the c4 no matter what i do .. Just for keeping with the original lump

  20. That's one less thing to deal with!

  21. Not a bad idea there, plus I could possibly build up the bottom end myself and learn something new in the process!

  22. With the headlight's de-chromed and maybe some fresh plates the front would look spot on... I just used plain gloss black as requested pal
