  1. Just spotted these, thought they might interest someone at such a low price: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-ACCORD-TYPE-R-RECARO-FRONT-SEATS-/191384947972?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c8f6e8d04
  2. Thanks for the info, yeah i'm definitely after a stiff setup. You had BC BR's, but with which springs? Since they make a huge difference regarding the stiffness factor. The reason why i fancy BR is that they offer such a huge range of springs to suit any needs. Btw the socks looks exactly like what i need for the harsh winters we get!
  3. I really recommend willtheyfit.com. Here are 2 setups that i've had in the past, 15" and 16" compared that will fit and wont rub: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=195&aspect=55&diameter=15&wheelwidth=7&offset=37&width2=205&aspect2=45&diameter2=16&wheelwidth2=7&offset2=40#content The amount of drop won't matter (unless you go crazy low!), atleast on these tyre/wheel combos, because the lower you go the more natural camber you'll get (unless you've installed and adjusted camber kits) and the tyres will tuck in to the wheel wells. Just type your planned wheel & tyre combo on to the "new setup" section and see how much difference will it make.
  4. Looking good, man, love your car. How do the Meisters compare to the BC's? I've been thinking about buying either one.
  5. Not very hard, i'll be getting a new one this winter. I had a Koni setup before and that was way harder. Yes the tyres were pretty close to the lip but when the car went down camber made the tyres go into the wheel well with no rub. I snowboard a lot so the car is often full of people and gear. But if you can get your hands of an arch roller, definitely give it a go. Makes life a lot easier!
  6. My old winter setup was 15x7 et37 195/55 no arch roll and no problems! Sat pretty low on H&R coils. So go for it. Pics on this page: http://civic5.com/forum/topic/494-18-aerodeck-from-finland-track-daze/page-6 Also bookmark this site, great when figuring out if new wheels will fit: http://www.willtheyfit.com/
  7. Yeah i've been thinking about Honda Tuner now after Honda Tuning shut it's doors. I used to subscribe to another british Honda mag a few years back, can't remember it's name though, but the quality was quite crappy tbh and the mag went bankrupt after less than a year! So i'm a little suspicious about getting a subscription to another similar mag... no offense to your lovely little island intended. But if you remember the magazine i'm talking about, how does it compare to the newer Honda Tuner?
  8. Thanks for the link man just downloaded it. Been craving for more auto magness since Honda Tuning ceased to exist...
  9. Well my common sense says that if you have a hole in the spare wheel well, water & muck from the road will get sprayed inside as you drive. I've never noticed a hole there, nor any dampness etc., and i've got a lot of other stuff besides the spare wheel there as well so i go there every once and now. I'll take a look today (if i remember!), but in the meantime can you post a photo so we know exactly where and what you're meaning? I don't see a reason why there should be a hole there.
  10. I don't think you have to remove the whole door. Have you removed the door card yet and taken a look at the wires inside the door? I'd start there.

    Shadz ep3

    Nice... love black ep3's.
  12. You'll need to put the top mounts from your stock suspension to the ta technix's, otherwise it's a straight fit. He also said it's a pretty crap kit, but good if you just want to slam the car.
  13. Zuissi had TA Technix's on his mb6, said they we're ok for the money. I'll ask him about the fit.
  14. Don't worry about parts, i live in Finland and 95% of the time i buy ebay. Once you learn how and what to look for, you'll realise there are literally tons of parts, tuning and service, that'll fit your car. Sure sometimes there will be stuff that's hard to find, but in a difficult situation i've always found help here. So go ahead and buy that M! It'll be one your wisest decisions ever, man.
  15. Well i'll take the risk, 30£ for a used one vs. 200£ for a new one. But maybe there's a non-oem option available for cheaper? Haven't even checked. BTW @wantone you cleared the codes after the repairs, right?
  16. Whoa that's some major aero! Good purchase for sure.
  17. I'm getting fault code 15 (right rear wheel sensor). If i look from scrappies can i get it from any m with ABS or does it have to be specifically from a MC2 like i have?
  18. Ok good to know, thanks for the quick replys .
  19. I wish... only 15x7. It's so hard finding 114.3x4 15x8 wheels with a reasonable offset. But anyway, more about these in my build thread soon enough, the temperature is starting to drop below freezing during nights now so winter maybe just behind the corner here in Helsinki...
  20. Like Haynes the aerodeck workshop manual available here from the site gives instructions to bleed in this order: front left, front right, rear right, rear left. However the notes says this is for LHD models, for RHD it's symmetrical... what ever that means in this instance.
