  1. EXACTLY WHAT IV DONE!!! you wont be dissapointed itll be so quiet now.. i used the ITR silencer/resonator too..i even have the ITR backbox on mine, just need to get the tail pipe sorting its a tricky fit .. to be honest all this big exhaust crud.. stick to genuine tested honda stuff you might theres no vtec noise but hey... inconspicious and none of that horrible rattle resonance generated from the manifold.. you can now tootle around quietly
  2. Alastair.. very posh i must say ... i ripped the boot seal towards the bumper to allow any trapped water to flow out rather than in. youll see the result just after a rainy day as the leftover spills of water are left dripping down the bumpers. right where the taillights are... as for the front.. well.. i practically siliconed the entire left of the car around that area... the only thing i can think is the water is washed in as the wheels spin. only saying this because i had to repair/weld a plate on the drivers side underfloor pan as this area was rusted. passenger due for this summer too,,, and then you think does it only happen when its parked
  3. mines been like that for months.. great indication its working on low speed.. as they are a little too quiet..
  4. you probably know by now..its b****red... or may be possibly jammed.. routine maintenance helps... silicone spray down the rubbers frrom halfrauds.. bout £4
  5. You sure you didnt airlock the water ways to the IACV?... make sure both pipes get hot which would prove water circulation. Then get a can of throttle cleaner and spray around throttle area.. if the engine dies you found your leak....

  16. cheers guys. having spoken to meister R their spring rates are slightly different with their range from the eg to ek to MB, however on the MB the other difference is the rear bottom holders are longer in length. .... so i contacted BC and they are able to sell me extended rear bottom mounts for this MB application. the other differences are the different springrates other than that its all the same construction. these have 30 adjustments from rock hard massage to lovely and smooth. these are excellent . and i certainly did not pay £650.. ... we will leave that a secret.

  21. have a read of this http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=3005484 and this Same peak Horsepower figure yes. with the 98 the peak torque witch is 137lbft comes in at 6200rpm where as with the 96 the peak torque is only 133lbft an comes in right up at 7500rpm. Makes for a much more usable power band. Plus at the end of the day Torque = Acceleration Plus the 98spec is a full Stainless mani so its miles lighter than the cast 96spec.
  22. the 98 spec 4-1 http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk/ca ... ry=Exhaust the 96 spec 4-2-1 http://www.ek9.org/forum/sale/6935-96-s ... ifold.html they both are 2.5" collectors
