    i got a fresh p28 a few months ago and will be getting it mapped in the next few months. plan to take it to one of the local dyno places to get it mapped, but will probably get a chip for them to fit. so don't need any fancy map, just some thing for them to work with. the place I'm thinking of isn't a Honda specialist (they do evos mainly) but the reports are that they've got a good dyno and know their stuff.

    it's worth checking the size of the new dizzy against the old one if you've still got it. I've just fitted a new cap and rotor to mine and had to buy them from ignition car parts because the blue print one i got was too big. also, the rotor doesn't have a screw holding it on, and when i last changed mine I had to destroy it to get it off. I've squirted a bit of lube in this time (because the new rotor hasn't got one either) to hopefully avoid problems next time... might be worthwhile doing it now while it's all still fresh.

    looks like a good one mate karen's ep1 was a cool wee car to drive - we took a 1.6 for a spin when we got it and it was pretty nippy, but Karen wanted the cheaper tax don't know if you plan to mod it, but we've got a r rear arb of an ep3 (john greens old one) which never got fitted (no brackets) if you want it (free) that's if it fits the 5 door and it doesn't have one already.

    aye, noticed accord bits are a bit more than for our motors (at least for that gen). will stop taking over jake's thread now.

    managed to get the bump popped back out, and the bumper clipped back in so it looks semi respectable, but the bottom of the headlight is cracked and pointing downwards a bit. ended up being £190 for the bumper, light and bracket... not too bad I suppose, seeing as i got a price for a bumper off someone on eBay for £300! a new one's £380 or summat.

    strong suspicion that it was a quashqai... got most of the bits of the reflector from it, and it's a disk about 4 inches across. they're the only cars I've seen with them at knee height.

    yup... some duckwitt reversed into it a couple of Fridays ago... around 4am... obviously sober. new (old) bumper and headlight arrived yesterday.
