  2. We get properly ripped off for parts. It always amazes me looking at honda parts from America compared to here.. The dollar price is normally less than the price on pounds, and then you've got the exchange rate to factor in... It's mad. I got some gearbox bits for a fraction of the UK price even with delivery and tax. For the fog lights, a while ago someone fitted these which are supposed to be a good match for the rare big fog lights. https://ebay.us/m/3mKXkv I've had them in my watched items list since, but haven't got them myself as I fitted some big ones from a honda stream.
  3. You've been a busy boy, love the use of the sink while the boss is out. 😁 those bits are looking good.
  4. Full size versions
  5. Popped up in my phone memories... 10yrs ago...
  6. Good idea on the import 😎 must be getting exciting now you've got hold of it.
  7. Tubs2 looking good in the sun today, even with a thick coating of pollen.
  8. Good stuff mate. It's coming along nice. Do you mind if I ask what you paid for the engine? Just wondering about ballpark figures for the wife's type s.
  9. Not sure if this is one of the threads you came across, but it indicates it would be okay I don't know if this is correct myself, but @Roverjoe might know?
  10. I thought I'd deleted the feet pic πŸ˜‚ It's a class show for a freebie 😎 was well over 600 cars there
  11. Good work bud. Make sure you have a check under the plastic scuttle panel where the wipers are. That's a notorious spot for collecting old leaves and grot, and can be hidden rust back there. The clear repeaters really lift the look of the car I think.
  12. Welcome to the club mate. I know what you mean, you can't beat a good build thread 😎 Interesting project, will be good to see how it progresses. My wife has a 2.4 type s tourer which we had the ecu flashed on - it's a cracker of an engine on them. Sadly it's going to be going the distance soon as rust is starting to take hold... Do occasionally think about doing the swap on mine, but I'm too fond of the B18, and it's the main thing left from my original deck.
  13. Some pics from tonight's show at the car barn

  17. @Roverjoe is probably best to answer this one having just done it - have you had a spy at his thread? https://civic5.com/forum/topic/12786-restoring-my-nana-and-grandads-honda-civic-mb6/#comments
  18. I've not had this on mine. Did you hear back from j&r?
  19. When I was looking a few years ago all I could find were outer panels.
