  1. not much left to say Dave but this does just keep getting better and better - bet the rear seats look mint
  2. big AWD estate gave it away - it was either that, or the next guess was the old legacy I keep seeing with all the ralley stickers on it. The wife used to keep ending up behind you on the way to / from work (she works on Team Valley) - she used to have a silver 3 door EP1 civic. bet it was thirsty nice motor though, was the first one I've seen
  3. no worries same when it happens to me what was the last motor that you had - it wasn't the stagea that I've seen around was it?
  4. sounds like me - the wife normally says something like "dork" when I do... last time was a couple of days ago when I gave a young lad in a lowered white metro the thumbs up in Whickham (so to speak) I'll keep me eyes peeled for you bud I'm loving the rain sports, and they were pretty good in the winter, but not a winter tyre... If these had been around when I got the Kleber's I'd have been tempted for deffinates.
  5. alreet butcher... I live in Stanley so know where you're coming from. last couple of years I've used kleber quadraxers... they're a winter tyre rather than a full on snow tyre and work great got stuck twice last year... once on sheet ice on a hill (was okay with a push) and once on the steep hill on my estate but that was coz the bit left between the tyre tracks was too deep for my loweredness and was lifting me of the snow (on with the snow socks though and away I went). they're supposed to be tyres that you can use all year round, but once the temps much over 10-12 degrees you can feel them moving around a bit, but I've had 2 winters (November to March) on mine and there's hardly any wear
  6. That sucks Jake - hope it's not too bad though & don't beat yourself up about it.
  7. cheers yeah, it's got the auto tailgate.. sometimes it needs a bit of help - loads of issues with them apparently, but think ours is just the struts (inside the head liner!) coz it works when it's warmer... pretty cool
  8. will get her cleaned up and do some whoring
  9. cheers.. needed to stick with vtec
  10. it's karen's family wagon all the way here's a quick pic of both the brown family estates:
  11. cheers dude - I like the way that from the back it could be a wee hatch back it is indeed - chuff knows why it's there (with a cable tie and a spammy bolt) not sure what we're going to do about wheels - it needs some rainsports adding either way... it's got mayruns on at the mo, and they seem a bit skittish in the moist. also need to try and sort out winter tyres - got some on karen's old steelie from her ep1, but will need new wheels to fit. quite nice having a quiet cruiser (as a counter balance to mine...)
  12. apart from the obvious one, these are the ones that the garage sent me (it was a bit grim weather for pics last night when we got home).
  13. looks superb Dave - roll on the next meet ey? Must be so happy to have her back finally.
  14. aye... tourer [big boot smiley] will do a bit of whoring tomorrow
  15. cheers gonna be a good cruiser for family camping trips. few dodgy body repairs that need sorting though, but in great nick other than that.
  16. first prize goes to Mr knight.. but it's karen's ep1 that was left at the garage... not tubs 2.0 ivtec, 2003 with 60k on the clock.
  17. sitting in Evans halshaw in Cheltenham waiting for her to be taxed and sorted....
  18. loving what you've done Bud... looking sweet as
