  2. the seats look and always liked preludes mate... should be sweet.
  3. cheers yeah, I use 10w40, and oil use varies to be honest. just had to top it up the other day... put half a litre in, but need to check to see if it needs more.
  4. 170,000 and counting... starting to think about 3rd timing belt change
  5. it's always nice to hear people falling back in love with an m after being away... helps keep the faith if you know whati mean pleased that the probs should be fairly easily sorted as well Bud
  6. I'm thinking that maybe some time off the road might be in order next year and get a few bits and bobs done while the shocks are serviced....
  7. aye - ended up being an expensive alignment though! oh, and my koni shocks are getting a bit tired - can get them serviced though according to koni's website.
  8. Is it jap parts by any chance? that's where I got my fuel tank from... decent bloke, but bub of an odd spot
  9. and there's plenty of bumps out there does feel sweet though... apart from being a bit on the warm side for the winter tyres today.
  10. I used to keep doing the soldering thing, but they're a right nightmare.. last time I just got one of those new ones and was like wtf have I been wasting time and electricity (and crap soldering skills) for when you can just get one and screw it in
  11. tw@s! hate the way people just have no respect.
  12. my old clutch was like that for ages, from when I got her, until I got a new clutch with the gear box work... constantly thought it was on the way out, but it lasted about another 60k pleased that you've got her safe and Sound though bud
  13. it's been warm so far, so here's hoping... either that or its working from home time! did get the geo done while I was there though.. the ball joints had totally screwed the toe! need to get some camber control I reckon
  14. so took the car in to the garage last weekend to get oem springs back on for the winter, but they said one of the shock bolts has seized and was going to shear, and was welded to the bush... so they ordered some new bolts and a bush and took it back yesterday. they changed the back ones okay, then found that the spacers on the front shocks (to raise the spring cup) were well And truly stuck, and would have been to high for the oem springs so all back to normal... even lower than last winter because of the extended ball joints... so I'm snow plough Brown this year again.
  15. cool man... have fun skiing like a bit of snowboarding, but don't get much chance here
  16. did they chip it as well, or was it already chipped?
