The 'Cars From A Film/TV' Thread! (JAP ONLY)
NIKH25 replied to onejdmcivic1984's topic in Chat Lounge
I was watching the original gone in 60 seconds the other night and spotted a few Jap cars. Datsun factory. Mazda showroom And a Mk1 Civic. -
Genius, top job sir.
-
Yes, they'll bolt straight up. The rear fork type is just the fitment at the base being a fork that fits over the lca as opposed to an eyelet fixing.
-
That sits rather nicely.
-
Does it work?

Good shouts or as Krzys said Grids would look good, available in a massive range of colours and 40 or 45 offset too. Gunmetal Grids with a polished lip maybe?

MB1 Project (updated 18/11/14) - DC2 Steering wheel

Nice washers. -
It will be a lot easier to buy separately, you could be waiting a very long time to find a set of zs shocks with lowering springs. And all the above info applies to MB4 the same.
-
I bought a new set of these not long after I got the car as the tailgate kept dropping on the wife's head.
-
Yes, this is the price you have to pay to keep the lady in your life happy but new wheels.

No, not mine, google finds. -
Yes, it's fairly self-explanatory when you lift the bonnet, be gentle with them though they have a habit of shearing off.

Which was a gti in a one off green and with full leather.
-
Probably, they did a 1.9 gti version but that was the top level 309.
-
Mi16 was the 405, lots of conversions knocking around though, well there were, probably all dead by now.
-
That's quite a trick, I can never get the angle right for that.

Steve's MB2 - MG ZS Trim installed at last (Pics page 3)
NIKH25 replied to casasteve's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Most reputable garages should be happy to quote you with parts supplied by you. How far away are you from dynodaze (Hinckley Leicester)? Rich is very knowledgeable and only charges £25 an hour. -

I think both my cam belt and water pump cost about £200 and would have been cheaper if I'd done them at the same time. Get the parts from john banks on here, he does a good deal on cam belts, then you just need to find someone who won't charge extortionate labour rates. I used a blueprint water pump, waaaay cheaper than honda. -
