    It'll never be mechanical per say, electrical or fueling, usually electrical though. Plugs, leads, distrubutor, injectors or fuel pump. One of those probably the cause. Diagnosing it may or may not be a sod.

    I know on the EP3 that front calipers are known for seizing, might be the same with the FN2 too from what you said. What a bugger about the screws! Hope you can get them out soon!

    Looks like you washed the paint off in that picture! I'm guessing it's because of stone chips etc?

    Yes, exactly that! EK suspension fits, but your car will sit very low, even at the highest setting, so it's up to you.

    Should be the only one poking out of the exhaust, if your manifold is one of those with the cat in it then it might be poking out of there? Not 100% sure! @vtec2011, do you know where it is?

    I would look at the o2 sensor too before changing the cat.

    Quite well summed up that EK suspension fits but sits lower. Meister R make coilover's specifically for the MB. Engine parts as above. Exhaust, manifolds fit but the rest you might have to have custom fitted or get creative. Most get them custom made or order a longlife one online.
