Nice! Least it's not left you in the lurch just yet! Bit of time to look whilst you're still working! Boat looks good! Spent a weekend on one once, didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did! Had a Ford 1.8 diesel engine in it!

I'm currently having all four of mine refurbished, quoted £150 for the lot! They're being assessed today so I'll have a price for definite in a few hours hopefully! Bit of a bugger that you can't be without the car though otherwise I'd be suggesting the same thing mate! Unfortunately you seem to be at the mercy of the garages you mentioned!

Dropped them off, guy says it could be 5-7 days before they are ready as they have a lot of work on at the minute, no rush, other parts are delayed anyway so feet are firmly up now

Yeah I thought so too! Cheaper than buying replacements and it means not gagging about with pattern parts etc and they give a two year function guarantee!

To be fair I don't want to be replacing them earlier if I don't have to, I'm not bothered about outright handling though, the combination of decent suspension parts and geo set up and tyres will be enough to let me throw the car about and still not kill off the insides first.

There's a few factors to take into account really, how low, how far out of alignment is it and what you want to use the car for.
