Nice colour! Looks fairly straight, see the other half posing too, she looks happy enough!

That should be alright then, 4300k was the next one down which was basically OEM. Just the calipers to come back now but I know they won't be until late in the week, depending on their workload etc. I'm going to have a look at the existing lines to see about getting them ready to remove when my brother lends me a brake line spanner tomorrow!
-
Not bad to be fair! But it's a bugger because it delays you taxing it!

Thanks everyone, I love the look! They seem bright but haven't had them on at night yet, partly because I was out last night and also the car is pointing straight into the neighbours house so I'll sort the alignment once the wheels are back on! Went for 5000k bulbs, should be pretty much white light!

Pretty much my reaction when he told me on the phone!

Is that just tape on there?

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
Krzys replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Looks like you've done a good job, can see the flip a bit of the profile shot! -
Projector headlights and USDM mods fitted today! Massive thanks to @Chandler for the USDM kit, @dinochips for the projectors and @philgor for the advice on the HID kit! First off a quick action shot! Now for the photos of the job! Don't worry, the bumper is sat on a bit of carpet! Sidelight. Dipped headlight. All fitted, battery went flat though whilst testing, gave me a bloody heart attack when I saw the lights flicker and go out though! All reassembled! Some whoring shots! Look what else has come today!! Right lengths too by the looks of it!

Yeah I always blip coming down through the gears normally which is good practise so you know what note the engine is at for matching the revs when you practise heel and toe.
-
Exciting stuff! Look forward to seeing it develop!

As long as you can drop the gear straight in that could be a solution.

Roj's Mean Green No Fire Trucks Given Machineâ„¢ (Rust In Pieces)
Krzys replied to Roj's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Fuses are either below the steering column part of the dash or in the engine bay, I imagine the one you'll want to check would be in the box under the dash. -
Wallet feeling sore I bet! Have you got any ideas what pistons and rods you'll be getting? I heard BC are good?
-
Used to be alright in the EK, only thing is they don't have the diff as standard (in the UK EK4) but would you really miss it unless you're going for more power on top?

This is from the FAQ's. http://www.oemacuraparts.com/faqs

Yeah, might be a bit steep of a change to just do the 5th gear on our standard box, be like the 6th gear on a Corvette Z06 being silly!
-
Just thinking would be easier buying an S80 and just swapping the 5th gear? Could get the box reconditioned without the car being off the road too so the idea being you'd know it was a good box by the time it finds its way into the car.
