I thought copper grease was a standard procedure?
-
I think that's only if you're really low!
-
Yeah they share the CRV engine, any SMX owners forums you could ask on?
-
To be fair mine handled really well with the MGZS ARB, decent coilovers and decent tyres, will be even better when I've finished with the handling side of things!
-
Yep! Must be the new substances they're putting in the water Callipers boxed and ready to go, leaving work early to be able to drop them off myself before they shut at 17.00
-
Ah, useful wench! Yeah don't sell her too cheap then!

30 minute job from start to finish mate! -
£180?! Bargain regardless of the CV joint, as long as it runs, drives and has some T&T anything else can be sorted really!

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress
Krzys replied to vtec2011's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
It's still a fair bit of work but at least you won't be rebuilding the motor hopefully! If it's cheap and it's something you want to do then by all means go for it! -
That's what made me think about underlying problems! I've personally never heard of it happening, certainly not to anyone I know anyway!

Do whatever you feel you want to do mate, there's no right or wrong way and we can only say what we would want to do if it was our money! I keep looking at various turbo kits, so it's each to their own really! -
Seems like my EK with Decat and then Spoon mid pipe and back box
-
Glad you've sourced one so quickly! Happy days!
-
Yeah progress slowly but surely! Don't worry I'm not stressing over it like I normally would be
-
Only took a few minutes as well, that's them ready, spoke to the place this morning and they're happy for me to drop them off so saves me a bit on postage and time. Will do that tomorrow!
-
Yeah should have! Here's how you get the handbrake cable pin out!

Easy, take the door card off to make it easier, then pull off the tweeter or cover depending what the MB3 has and it'll reveal the tree bolts that hold it to the door. Obviously disconnect the electrics as well, another good reason to take the door card off -
Ah right I know what you mean, not sure where to suggest to be honest! Sorry.

Yeah, just re-ordered the braided hoses for the third time, didn't realise Mtec sell them! Right part no. as well!
-
Just about everyone seems to be slacking this week, had estimated delivery date of at least next week on the braided hoses, just had an email saying the pads are delayed, I know that if I get the callipers to the place tomorrow that it's up to three working days so potentially next week. Best put my feet up then!

Bugger! I'm sure you can get it replaced easy enough, but hope it's not going to happen again! -
I do think they look quite cool! For me I'd have a subtle one like this.
