It would only get in at those places mate for the rear! It could be the replacement rubber you got from the breakers has perished too? I got a second hand one to replace my tailgate rubber, it's loads better but still leaks a bit so I'll be getting myself a brand new one from Honda!

When I had my Cupra R the front used to kiss the road/pavement pulling on and off the drive, standard height too!

Leaks around the tailgate can be from the tail light seals, tailgate weather strip (Thick rubber around the edge) and possibly the rear door weather strip!

Epic! Glad to hear it got a good home and turned into a beast! Helps the EG/EK are so light compared to modern cars!The Jazz showed its weight I think! Wicked town car but that's not enough for me!

Stanced now! EG rears were always going to be low, you've seen all the other threads with EG/EK suspension attempts!

Slow! Brilliant car except it was slow! 100bhp 1.3 sounds good until you get into a couple of situations where power would have been ideal!

If I hadn't gone for another M, another EK would have been on the cards, had so much fun in every Honda I've had (not the Jazz, that was a mistake!)!

Going quick in a straight line is the easy part anyway! Handling is where the fun is at!

I'd cry if I counted what I've spent so far and most of that has been turning my M from a run-down neglected car into an almost pukka little gem (mechanically and the interior)!

Swapped all four back or just the fronts? The 16's I bought need new rubber x4 so can't fit them legally until I get new, but also want to change the colour too! Fussy git me -

Fair enough dude, what about renting a garage from your local council? Then you can stash the car in there while it's apart? Then pull the head off and bring it home to work on indoors?

Yeah what people see in action and behind closed doors are two completely different things, if people knew the costs of producing, running and disposing of say a Toyota Prius they'd sooner run my 80's Accord! Meh, been to sleep since then! Didn't realise it was that long ago!
