  1. Yesterday evening I changed my standard bulbs with Ring Xenon Ultima bulbs that I had on my mb2 and I was surprised as they were much brighter this time on the deck. I think the fly eye tint on mb2 made them less bright I started today by swapping the alloys first as you saw the pic earlier ..but that was the only pic I took in daylight as my phone battery died and I was busy working on the car still to take more proper pics. After alloys moved onto removing front bumper and headlights Also decided to remove the resonator as everything was off and it was golden opportunity to take that crap out That's the best alloys fitted pic I got in daylight
  2. So first of all yesterday Cambelt and Water Pump were done so that combined with full service earlier is a big burden of my shoulders
  3. As the sun came out today I did the mandatory Car Wash but I also washed and waxed the wheels ready to be fitted ..Then my wife kindly took some pictures for me as her photography skills are much better than mine .. I love the color of the wheels in the Sun.. Hope you guys like..
  4. I have found the right size Spigot Rings hopefully. 73.1mm to 64.1mm. Ordered them last night and should be here by Wednesday so hopefully wheels will be going on then
  5. Shame about the area you missed..But like you said it looks so much better than before ..I love that pic of the deck mate..Only front lip to go now right?
  6. So fitted all 4 alloys with 73.1mm to 56.1mm spigot rings I had and tried fitting one on and it won't go on. There was a gap from the disc. Now I have found out mb6 centre bore is bigger than mb2 and it's actually 64.1mm. Most places I am looking at for 16" Rota Circuit 8 alloys the centre bore is coming up as 73.1mm so new spigot rings I think to solve this issue
  7. Great work as usual mate.. I am sure the Baikal green would look even better but black is good for a quick job.. Still suits well
  8. Nice to see you back in a Mb mate.. And glad to see you changed alloys.. At least that's a start.. Hopefully the modding bug would takeover lol.. Which one will you be bringing to japfest?
  9. Great upgrade mate.. They do look nice on Ms I think.. Have a look on my thread for eBay link where I got my pirates black spray from.. Very good seller and quality spray paint. 400ml color coded aerosol and 500ml lacquer together were only £16.75.. And the quality is really good as you can see from the grill
  10. Not a first post thread again @Faisal.. Makes it very confusing lol .. Good luck with sorting out the alternator.. Hopefully she will be running after that
  11. I would most probably get it done by a professional to keep warranty and I am pretty sure the bolts will be seized which I don't have equipment to deal with apart from wd40 lol .. Plus I am getting a stock suspension set to keep as spare in case I have to swap back quickly.. So I will take top mounts off my existing ones.. Just need lca and bolts so the whole setup done at once like you said
  12. I have sent seller a message just in case so I know if he offers any warranty or not.. Hopefully won't be too long.. Just need to source out some LCA soon
  13. Yes I will check the rear lip again but I am sure the lugs were there. At least one of them definitely was. I won't be taking any chances this time like the mb2.I will make sure it fits perfectly and doesn't fall off lol.. Let me know how you put it back on the bumper please.. The bumper is looking really nice so far.. From the pics it looks like you haven't got any uneven spray or runs.. Hopefully it's the same in person also.. Looking forward to the lacquer They are the exact wind deflectors I got so just snap the ends on front ones and they will fit perfectly.. Rear ones don't need anything doing.. Just use the metal clips or double sided tape or both so they stay in fine
  14. O yeah.. So hard to wait .. Coilovers might have to wait a little longer as I want to change all bolts that come off and probably lca also at the same time
  15. Nice updates bro.. The number plates look spot on.. And front fogs looking good.. Just the headlight washers to go now.. I still have that one washer if you want or buy my bumper for 20 and you get both washers and spare bumper
  16. Looking good so far in the picture mate.. Let's hope lacquer turns out well also.. I found hardest part to be the lacquer.. I will have to drill holes in my bumper when I get round to fitting the rear lip.. Can you take a pic of the clips when you put your lip back on please
