Yeah more than enough to keep me busy! Ontop of everything else after further inspection I deffinately need a new sunroof! Parts of the seal are corroded and its started to rust in areas of the metal band that attaches the seal to the glass! Where am i likely to get a sunroof with a decent seal on apart from brand new??

RIGHT!! Few bits ordered this morning.... Upper arms, track rod ends and thermostat will be to me this afternoon! And appologies alex, i took the easy route and just bought a new fully assembled resistor pack instead of repairing my one hehe! Thanks for the heads up on it though! Let the re-birth commence!

Aww shame to hear your thinking of selling the M, you have really made it unique to you and you have got it looking great, but I know how you feel hitting the point of mass component failure haha!! Hang in there you might end up keeping her yet! plus... Maz's littl'un will be sad to see that pikachu leave us!
-
nice to hear good things coming from your redundancy... Their loss eh!! Shame to hear about the gasket and head problems though, it all seems to happen at the same time with these M's doesn't it!

Some big power there mate, great build! Would love to see more pics too! -
Right, its about time I sorted out a few problems! Front Upper Arm Ball Joints Knackard Track Rod End Ball Joints Knackared Thermostat Knackard Shaft Joints Knackard Heater Resistor Pack Only 3 and 4 Clutch Pretty Worn Now... I cant afford to do the lot in one hit so I need to prioritise slightly. The upper arms, track rods ends, thermostat and shaft joints are my main concerns so I'll be dealing with them first... Shafts I've got sorted thanks to a link someone posted for me a few pages back ... Upper arms, thermostat and track rod ends, obviously OEM from honda would be ideal but on a budget where would be suggested I get these from, is my local 'Jayar Car Parts' decent enough?? Clutch wise, its getting there but I can nurse it a bit longer, when the time comes I'll be visiting speed equip for an exedy kit. And resistor pack I've got covered... Hopefully I'll have some worthwhile updates soon enough... Once she's running right (and safe) i can work on rescuing the misfit exterior!!! Lol Oh yeah, and im getting big misting inside in the mornings, one morning it froze inside the windscreen... I think the sunroof seal is the culprit... I heard the whole kiddie needs to be replaced, or can i attack the seal with silicon?

Wow maz! The wheels look superb mate... Fantastic choice, dont think they could look better. Really transforms it, good job! -
Yeah i think its had little anti-freeze in the system but its had green stuff in it... So havn't had any green to top it up but now i've got to deal with it and drop it all out to flush the sustem i can refill with red stuff and get a good mixture flowing round! I flushed a lot of the crap out the other day anyway so should be ok once i replace the coolant! Thanks lads, oh btw... I bled the clutch and got a bit of a better pedel back but the clutch will need doing at some point!

Will be replacing the stat this week, at the moment it's just on the stat seal with the middle removed to get the flow back. When I replace it I'll flush the system through and antifreeze it, as right now its just running on water to get me to n from work! Im going to bleed the clutch today and see what happens... Then take it from there... May try that slave trick if i need to mate cheers!

Will deffo be bronze when time and money allows, also when ive dealt with more important things... Like my car rediculusly overheating last week and spewing water everywhere out the expansion bottle... Fan wasnt working so assumed that was the problem... After changing the rad fan switch it still didnt work, then i noticed the bottom hose was staying stone cold... So took out the termistat, which looked a bit worse for wear, chopped the gunbins out now seems to be running fine!! Alot of chalky white s**te came out the pipes though... Now clutch pedal has hit the deck... The list gets bigger!!!

Will be a while before i make any major progress though due to lack of funds at present, hopefully i dont have to wait too long as my bumper is prepped for repair and respray so doesn't look great at the monent!! Will be staying well away from any of those Tom I usure you!! Lol Things are looking good for us at the moment, affordability is there for what we are borrowing, after a previous chat with the home owner we think our latest offer will be accepted, just need to search for that little bit extra for fees etc. also it is only us two in the chain so fingers crossed it shouldn't be too stressful! Hmm I'm thinking a darker colour, maybe proper bronze (as these were advertised as original bronze but have been poorly refurbed gold!) or a gun metal or black... Havn't decided yet!... Opinions??
