  1. Awesome bud, much appreciated
  2. Nice one Kink, always on point with the info Am I going to experience a noticeable drop in handling if I leave it?
  3. So guys/girls, decided to spray my strut bar today and when I went to put it back on I overtightened one of the bolts and pop, snapped the stud straight off. Is it possible for me to remove the remaining bit of the stud and put a new one in? I think I read they are welded in? And is it dangerous by any chance? It's still held in by 3 bolts. Thanks
  4. Awesome little car man, those black wheels will look great on it
  5. I've got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 3s in 205/45/16 and can't fault them at all for performance. Near impossible to make the car lose grip unless your well into the upper range of the speedo and even then I have yet to make the car lose it properly. Amazing in the wet as well, can launch at 4-5K and as long as you don't keep your foot mashed to the floor you'll pull off with no slip. Only downers is that they were £100 a corner and I've read they wear down in about 15-20K miles. Bit soft as well so car is pretty harsh when going over bumps but this could also be down to the Meisters.
  6. Spraying those front strips makes a world of difference man! Defo having those interior parts if they're not gone in a week
  7. Exactly mate, no point in forking out 110 odd quid when I could get these pads that will do what I ask of them just fine
  8. Top man, this is why I love Civic5
  9. They look like just what I was lookin for mate. What are those mtec discs like mate and do the dc2 pads fit our mb6 brakes?
  10. Got the ATR spoiler fitted and doing the other little bits this weekend. Need help decieding on what to do regarding the brakes. I loved the look of the Mugen callipers on BlamesVTI but they're a touch over a grand, whereas a set of front and back EBC dimpled and grooved discs with DS2500 pads comes in at £550 which would leave £550 for the S2 intake mani and maybe an ECU and map. I think the Mugen bits could be a bit overkill for a 200hp goal? Anywayy, heres some more crappy pics of the spoiler:
  11. Jesus mate, that car must be one of the cleanest MB's I've ever seen. Suspension parts will completely transform the car, night and day difference
  12. Got the car back. One word: wow. The difference is mental. First off it feels like I was running on a 1.4l 3 cylinder, car pulls so hard now and I can actually hear the vtec! Was going to return my whale p***s intake because it didn't make any noise, it bloody does now And the handling! Had to keep correcting mid corner because the car was pulling into the apex whereas I was expecting it to run wide. Doesn't stink of fuel and after a 15 minute blast my petrol guage hasn't even changed whereas before I would have emptied a quarter tank near enough. Basically fallen in love with it again, but now its scary fast Finally snapped some pics, will get some proper camera ones after its had a wash tomorrow. Tomorrow will be fitting the ATR spoiler, mesh grille, spraying the chrome bit and doing my callipers in blue. Very impressed with it all though, brake upgrades will be purchased next week and then its finally onto powaaa.
  13. Quick bump, struggling to find a new cable for the C4, does anyone know if any of the Rover cables fit or does anyone know where to get the MB6 cable?
  14. Hopefully getting her back tonight mate, so i'll take it for a wash and then upload some
  15. Interior is full of win, car is full of win, top job mate. What headunit is that btw, looks well nice!
  16. Thanks for that Kink, stunning bay as well. Going to try and bodge it so I can get it home and then get them to send me the proper one out.
  17. So it's sitting pretty at the minute still at the garage but most of it is fitted now. Most of the bushes were burnt out and I couldn't drive it like that so ended up shelling out for Hardrace rubber bush master kit for the EG. I asked a few people what I should go for and they all recommended hardened rubber instead of polyurethane so that should tighten the car up a bit. Maz, literally every single bolt on the rear had to be drilled/cut out. They were so bad my mate broke a Snap-On 1/2" socket getting them off. The fronts on the other hand were a doddle and I came down and did those myself because the labour fee was stacking up. Need it back ASAP though, weather is nice and my go-pro arrived a few days ago. Also got all the paint and stuff now to do the rear chrome and brakes. Also got the mesh for the grille. BUT, the thing I'm most excited for is getting in the floor mats. They looks so nice
  18. Hi, anyone used the DC2 throttle cable on the MB6? Ordered a standard one and they've sent me the DC2 one which is really long, but I need it to move the car back to my garage. Does anyone know how to route it?
  19. Tints look awesome mate, 'specially against the silver car.
  20. Work commenced on the suspension today. Nightmare. Every single bolt is peppered. Every last one. Had to cut both handbrake cables because they'd seized. Dropped it off at my mechanics at 11am, just finished putting on the 2nd coilover and that's it. Oh the joys of working on a 16 year old car On the plus side, got my fat 5 off and now I can run all 4 Rotas
  21. 4 Just finished fitting my DC2 wheel. Feels so good Can also see my Fugen pedals if you look hard enough. Not 100% happy with the accelerator but it's still a decent improvement over the standard thin pedals.
  22. Blue it is! Hopefully everything is getting fitted mechanical-wise tomorrow which is: OEM Dc2 throttle cable, OEM Honda cambelt and tensioner, NTK o2 sensor, HEL brake lines, Meisters, Cyberspeed rear LCA's and front camber arms and the valve clearances. If this doesn't fix the problem of the stuttering and general sense of roughness I don't know what comes next. Hopefully it does though so I can move on to more power. Also ordered Diamond Black G6 front rotors and DS2500 pads for the front. Should give me a nice amount of stopping powarz
