Dave
Looking good mate, nice bit of work converting the headlights to projectors. Looks like it came from the factory. Be interesting to see what the light output is like compared to originals when fitted to the car. Looking forward to seeing this!

MarkHuntsman
Nice build so far. Can you please post some photos of the backside of those projectors? I am working on my retrofit at the moment and i am curious how you mounted them. I went the lazy route and got myself some Mini H1 projectors, which use the threaded shaft, locating spacer and a nut, to simply slide in the position of H4 bulb and tighten in place...
snakey135
I’ve mounted the second one in now so will be difficult to get a good photo of the back of the projectors but I’ll get one tomorrow when I’m at work... literally, on the back of the reflector I basically cut out where the circle is... and stuck a thumb nail size blob of strong windscreen mastic onto the reverse of the projector base at the 4 corners... I lined up my headlight to the beam setter then put the projector in with a fastening spring on the reverse to keep it held it whilst it set... I was then able the hook it up to a battery then manouvered the projector slightly until the beam was there or there abouts on the setter... I’ll attach some photos tomorrow to help explain 2
snakey135
Ok I have taken a few pictures but like I said, hard to see exactly but it’s the best I can offer lol. next two two photos hopefully show how I mounted the projector, it’s from behind the reflector which you can hardly see but you should be able to see where the mastic is... last ine one is just of the piece that I cut out of the reflector... hope me this is of any help... i am also intrigued on what your projectors look like and how you’re planning on mounting them too, have you got any photos to share??
