I have always said... Why do people put 'Type R' badges or 'VXR' badges on their cars which are not the sort... So I would fall into that category with my 'Hooning Is Not A Crime' sticker if i didnt take her out hooning!! Thats my excuse to the missus... "It says on my window that i Hoon so i have to, I dont make the rules!" Lol1 point

Im the same, i sold my last MB6 in 2007 when my expanding family meant i needed something bigger, i missed it when it was gone, i have had loads of cars and theres only 3 i would love to own again and the MB6 was one of them, dont see many in the north of Scotland so when one came up in the summer i bought it now im happy with my car again!. None of the cars i had since my last MB6 could compare to it.1 point

I like the gunmetal, I reckon you'll go blue though. Not really, I got a 5 litre bottle of mobil1 in exchange so I'm happy. I will polish it for him in the new year, I'm not fussy, I'll polish anything. Especially my rocket.1 point

I had a mk1 lwb 2.5 turbo diesel on compomotives and BFG AT's. Was awesome until it rusted into a pile of dust! While we're loosely on the subject- the vehicle I wanted as a kid more than anything. Stuff the A-team van, submarine Lotus, Trans-Am with a red light on the front or a Dodge with no working doors. Hilux + Daylighters = Hell Yeah! I also like that gen of Micra .1 point

Yeah, it will look a little odd I think. Stop mucking about and get that thing slammed.1 point

It is disheartening at this time of year to see it get so dirty so quickly but at least it's easy to keep on top of now. I clayed my mates 06 plate focus this afternoon, he's completely over the moon with it, couldn't believe what a difference it's made. It was a pretty clean car anyway.1 point

Looking proper clean or..... was.. I keep meaning to do this on my car but it's pointless down ere on the muddy Cornwall back lanes1 point

There's a Micra whizzing around here that looks good, similar look to the black one pictured above! Be a cracking first car for your daughter Nick and get her into the JDM motors early!1 point

All this talk makes me want to get my M treated to a detail! But I'm too lazy but one of my mates does mobile detailing so will chuck him a few beer tokens to do a mega session!1 point

It shouldn't take three hours to clay the car. Next time you do it, clay whilst the car is still wet but still lubricate the bar with water. Also be sure not to put any pressure on the bar. It should just glide over the top I also use Iron-X and Tardis twice a year (more money on cleaning products lol). Iron-X is fantastic at getting rid of iron filings on the wheels and lower half of the car but smells terrible. Tardis is great for removing tar and bird sh*t.1 point

Wow... Took an age to claybar my 15 years worth of grot deck a couple of days ago!! Came out lovely though!! Its a shame i live at top of a hill and get very misty/foggy so vapour was setting on my car whilst i was buffing my wax coat but got a couple pics today after a top up wash! Should really get onto sorting those bumper holes out too!!! Lol What do we think lads? Two bucket autoglym wash, squegee and buff, claybar (for 3 hours!! Is it meant to take that long??) then autoglym wax and then final buff? Any tips if ive done it the wrong way around lool?1 point

I don't like it, too flat and nothing going on to break it up! I'm not sure which it is, first shot makes it look taller like the ATR but the second looks like ITR...1 point
