  1. Yes I can confirm that the handling has improved massively! Was back at work today so managed to blag the ramp at lunch time to refit the wires into the O2 sensor that pulled out when the exhaust fell. Glad to report that the engine management light has now gone and so has the abs light.

  4. No smoke at all in the last few days so that's a good sign I got the headlights done. I left the orange indicator cap in but removed the clear lense as I think it looks too plain with clear indicators I have also got the Wolfrace wheels resprayed so they are left to dry till Monday. Can I put the wheels on without lacquer? Because I'm skint till next pay day now

  11. UPDATEEE!!! applause.gif1 SOooo after almost a year of owning a MG ZS anti roll bar I finally started my work on it. SO pretty much I got the bar but it was covered in rust so took it to work and did my thing. ordered some new powerflex bushes and droplinks, after 1 week of sandiing and respraying the bar was ready to be fitted. So after a little fun got my old arb out and compared it to the new one. and here are the bofore and after pics and the next big mod is my new seats. After a long time of waiting finally decided to buy a set of recaro's and dam they were not fun to fit. Had to completely hack apart a spare set of rails i got from good old adam. after pretty much creating new subframes and bolting them to the standard rails the seats are now fitted. still will create a better rail set for them in the futre but for now thy are looking awsome. So changing both the seats and the ARB in the same day and taking it out for a drive put the biggest smile on my face!! WACK11111 can not beleive the difference in handling is completely spaffing better would have to agree witheveryone out there, a mg zs roll bar is a must upgrade for the MB/MC. seats do help alot and dont think i will ever change them back but unless you have the use of soime pretty serious tools you will find installing them hard. The next upgrade will probs be better to show in a video. seeing I do alot of drag racing I thought I would invest in a Bee *r launch control systems so that should be interesting to play with. either way take it easy people.

  15. Kryzys, I'll get them fitted this week. Haha Tom there are more packets under the envelope They are my late night bedroom munchies Yeah sham it would look awesome with a VTi-S gear knob, I saw this and was inspired by it. My alloys are gloss black but I think you should leave yours grey or do it white, white goes well with blue.

  20. ere, i'm done. well happy, being able to do it at work made it a hell of easier, forget your little 2ton car jack, i'll borrow the 10ton hgv jack, yeah the one where it's easier to move with a forklift than by hand.. started about 12.30 but was on and off it due to helping a workmate with his car for an hr or so. gutted that i didn't get any pic's as no phone or anything. couldn't believe how easy the car came apart, not a single siezed split pin or nut, only struggled with the driveshaft nut, that was bloody tight.... so the rear pad's are in, the disk's are ok but will want replacing when the pad's require replacement, the front disk's well the pad's were only using a 1/3 of the disk on the inside , but same again even the disk retaining screw's came out with very little persuasion. i didn't realize how poor the brake's were, but now even look at the pedal, and i've stopped already. the gearbox and drive shaft was a good one, the oil was well past it and the box feel's a lot better for the change, but it was a twat to fill up, got the first liter and a half in and then it started to pour out of the level plug, oh bugger, that's because of the axle stands, and the rear of the car nearly on the floor. so put all the plug's back in found a blot on the top that i could fill up with and poured the rest of the oil in. engine oil and filter went to plan. the bottom ball joint's were a "get them done now or it'll need them for the mot" the driver side one was squeaking, but what i didn't know id the passenger side one had a little bit of play in it as well, and both dust covers were also split. also washed it as well. i'm so glad it's all done now, and it's such a different vehicle to drive again, oh the brake's have bedded in well

  21. Look how much mileage my car has done I also sprayed my grill black, it was previously carbon wrapped but not a perfect wrap. So just thought I'd spray it for a more cleaner and original look. Put this sticker which I bought ages ago Had a play around with my old headlights and installed an LED strip, not sure if many of you will like it but I want my headlights to be modern. I then noticed my old headlights are much cleaner than the new spare set I got, so I might just swap it over then try the projector mod. Also sprayed my calipers red today Noticed I scraped one of the wheel, only sprayed it like a week ago. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUU This also came in the post this morning along with caliper paint but forgot to install it, might do tomorrow.

  22. Was out and about most of the day. Once I was done doing family stuff the Wife let me go to the junk yard and work on the car. Went to the local yard and picked up these goodies. A set of seat rails that I plan on modifying and a cream/tan colored arm rest. All of this was out of a Rover 416. Different color? No problem sir. I plan on using some Dupli-color for plastic flat black paint on it. Had just enough time left to put on the rear suspension and adjust it. No pics of the lows, sorry. I ran out of day light. This was actually a pain in the a*s with all the removal of the rear panels and the old suspension. I really need to look into another set of trailing arms!!!! 1. 2. Done
