  5. Ah I see what you mean mate. Wouldn't see the purpose though? The trailing arm itself is nothing but a pressed piece of metal. It's all the other bolt ons that do the adjustments etc

  8. Been back out today to work on the JDM stalks, thought I'd show you how I got on! To say the least, I'm quite pleased with myself! Now for various pictures to show you what's involved! First off, unplug the wiper stalk cables, you need to extend these by about 2 inches, a bit more would be better! Then the steering wheel needs to come off, disconnect battery etc etc Then you are presented with the SRS reel which just has three screws to remove and a connector at the bottom to unplug to remove. Same for the next part here, rotate the white part in the middle to reveal the screws. Finally get your JDM mount with stalks! Fitting is the reverse of removal! Now to route the wiper cables you have extended, could have done with being a bit longer but I just got away with it! Before you plug the wiring in you need to remove the cables from the connectors and swap them over as if you were mirroring their positions! Once you have done that, time to plug it all in! Steering wheel refitted and ready for testing! And that's it! I have minimal electrical skills so based on that most of you should be able to do this! I got my mount from an EG apparently off eBay! Still got the ITR mount and stalks but it doesn't have the rear wash/wipe switch, ideal if you have a de-wipered rear screen!

  15. Yeah it's been easy for me but the Accord has them that way round and I've spent at least a year driving that over the time we've had it Yeah on the M the wiper and stalk have different sized mounts! Wiper is half the size of the indicator size which is why in the pictures above you see me just changing the whole unit instead of just the actual stalks!

  17. Those bolt grip sockets got to be worth a go... Before getting well involved with drilling and grinding etc! Once you start grinding you cant go back! Might need to arrange one of these 'stuffed deck convoys' myself when we move in a few months!! Sounds a cracking idea and my furniture would be proud to travel in such style!! New rubber holds up a treat cheers for the advice lads!! Well happy!

  20. Generally if they drive on the left hand side of the road and the steering wheel is on the correct side in the country of manufacture then indicators will be on the right. We bowed to European pressure in this country and switched the stalks over, still surprises me don't drive on the right yet.

  23. and a new cat... and a custom 2,25" stainless pipe... and a magnaflow backbox. I've spent the last week e-mailing a couple of companies and have finally settled on one (the most expensive ) to build the exhaust and install the beforementioned combo. This will hopefully happen within the next month, permitting i pass my MOT first. The horn hasn't been working for a while so will have to start with that. Also the 1st of March signals the start of summertire season, but i think i'll stick to my winters for a few more weeks in case of a "backwinter" which always comes... even though i can barely wait to get my Volks back on!
