that bolt is known for not wanting to play ball, usally an airgun does win, but i think a couple of are member's are honda tech's i think they use a 3/4" or 1" gun, that's more at home in a hgv garage, the bolt is a normal left to loosen, right to tighten, some people find using a freeze spray on the bolt to shock it... Yer they are a pain we had my car right up in the air and 4ft" bar it the tool for the job not any old bar , and still it took some doing to get it to shift

will chrome rover 45 wing mirrors fit my MA8
DAVEMB2 replied to skitzma8's topic in Body/Electrics/Interior
Should fit people have put them on Mbs so can not see why not .that said the connectors will be diff so would prob have to mod them -
I am on this thinking ,do not get me wrong if it feels good on the bum dyno then thats good hell I put 99ron petrol in all the time to me it feels like I have 20 bhp more so that's fine Back to the reset I would say If you was to run a dyno test you would see no diff ,it would be like flashing your ecu and you can not do that coz mapping ,flashing are all about new map parameters written with a fair bit of work to get them right singing together for opti use and performance .but if people think its done something that fine just want to get the true facts nothing but the facts mam
-
half right mate reset will make small adjustments for example you just put new carbon intake on,,, so air flow will be different,,, so,,, a reset will make those small adjustment to get the right setting for the engine to run at its best? that what i belive Yes but does the ecu not make those small adjustment anyway on the fly coz air ect are always changing eg temp how old or dirty the filter is ect.

Nice pics liking them -
So no one knows for sure then I take it the map Is set form factory and all the sensors make small changes to the cars fuel ,air ect so you reset it back to how the car came out of factory
