Are you pushing the pistons aswell?? Rears wind in like a screw. Can't push them like the fronts.
-
Might be a one off. Was the immobiliser light flashing? I know a few people including myself had a intermittent problem where key wasn't recognised by immobiliser. Then all of a sudden it was fine
-
That's not good. What's up?
-
Still.. looks flipping awesome on the new stuff!
-
Good job. I guess the shields are there to try stop crap getting in. Personally I took them off because they were tatty and I don't do many miles. Up to you tho
-
Must have been a bad pot hole. What a shame. So when the new wheels going on?
-
Good work!! Can't imagine was too easy on your tod

Yeah there on sliders which can stick. The piston problem is down to the handbrake mechanism usually. The bearing in on the handbrake arm seizes up. So have a look while your there. See if when you engage and release handbrake the lever on the caliper is moving.

Not worried. Just it's getting dragged out a bit that's all

It's still not working. Every time I pay someone to do owt they f**k it up. Might have to have a look myself if it's not sorted Monday PM. It's a horrid feeling at the minute though because I don't even have a key. Locksmith is helping himself to car while I'm at work

I found 4kG flywheel wasn't great with a full car. Better otherwise tho. Much more responsive -
Henry all the way!!!

Seen tour car at Donington last year. looked pretty tidy to me. Certainly not offensive

I think the mg springs lower about 15 mm . The arb is direct bolt on. It doesn't mount to the sub frame no it doesn't require reinforcement.
-
Wow that looks good!!!!
-
Yeah looks in good shape!!! Can't believe how quickly you've brought this m back to good health! Impressive
-
Ah I see. Keep an eye on it It's gonna put a lot more strain on the mounting points like that. Good stuff tho dude! You been working hard!
-
Wow you are making some progress. May I ask why arb is upside down tho. Exhaust clearance???

V nice mate. Luxury

Oh dear sure you'll sus it. Forget rolling, cut the lip off a little bit of pulling and some camber they'll go on surely.

Seems to be about right. There's another on civic life for 250. Get a decent aftermarket one. I bought one for 90 quid it was garbage so sent it back. Bought another from eBay 'ryanonfire' cost 169 I think. And it's beautiful. Very nicely made bit of kit. Airbox could set you back around 75 quid I reckon.

Fingers crossed mate. Hope so plays ball

It now turns over so starter is circuit has been released. But the fuel pump doesn't run. To be honest I think he just needs to familiarise himself with it. I was trying to get involved without belittling him. I have workshop manual and Obd1 pin outs on my phone and I could see that the wire from ecu to fuel pump relay was spliced and still is. But he said there's power there. So I dunno. Leave the expert to it

Yes dude it has a key and it looks modern like my old prelude key. Yeah he took boot barrel out and dismantled it. Then made a mould from which he cut new key. Clever and worked first time
