may be worth popping injectors out as there's a little mesh filter in each one. Likely dirt caught there. Also I was quoted 15 quid per injector for ultrasonic clean. Flow test and new seals. Place in Leicester does them. Sure someone local could do same. Might be worth considering if no luck.

Give it a whirl mate. If not mg Zs door cards look good. Carbon wrap the door trim and dash insert to match.
-
Your a crazy guy! There's a section on fuel consumption somewhere I think. I get around 200-250 round town. 400-440 motorway taking it easy off tec.

Depends what's been done when you say reconditioned. I'd expect to pay around 200-250 quid for used one with 100k. So I guess it sounds reasonable what with the warranty and all. I had a minor gearbox fault and decided to replace with a s4c box. I'm sure some members recall my woes. I had 5-6 boxes on my car before I found one that worked. In hindsight I'd have rather paid a little more for peace of mind. As it ended up costing a fortune. Time and money. Stress etc

Copper is the no1 conductor hands down. I'll never buy into this iridium malarkey. I don't mind changing my ngks fairly regularly for what they cost. I like to have a nosey at the condition anyway. Make sure all is well.
-
Anyone know what using higher heat rating could do? I think the b18c has 7s instead of 6 in the c4
-
Yeah spose I could ask I work for our local council. Not sure where any are round here but must be something a. Cheers tom
-
It's because there harder. Still not likely to happen unless there's some extreme s**t going off in the combustion chamber. I think we're safe!
-
That's good to know that iridium do last well then.
-
Standard for me! Despite what people think iridium plugs are less conductive than a standard plug. They are designed to last really a long time maintenance free. Yet people spend 40 quid on them and still change them after say 5000 miles. If your after a performance plug silver is the way to go. Personally I like cheap and cheerful ngk. Never had any issues over many cars and 8 quid a set!!
