I think the windscreen is a weak point on these. Doesn't seem to be bonded all the way round instead some foam pieces used. So yeah roof gutters off and windscreen trim. And tiger bond round the top of the windscreen. Hopefully that may help. As Im sure some of you know. This was the death of my my. Caught it late and the water had been running into the foot well a long time rotted through the inner sill. Inner arch too. It's very difficult to repair as there's so many layers.

Cool it's coming on a treat now. Well done getting it all sorted so quickly. How does it compare to the low miler you had?? Feel much different to drive? Other than the clutch I guess..

Sounds great look forward to seeing the clocks in. Different!

Simoniz engine enamel. I used it a few years back for my rocker cover and it's still there no chips and shiny. Bit awkward to use. Loads of thin coats needed for a good finish. But it pretty much looks like it came that way. Nice finish and texture.

Yeah they work fine. Ms have a weird rear lca. It's same as eg dc2. But has ek middle bush. So yeah ek shocks fit.
-
Was bored and Fancied sprucing up the s2. Just about to make a new sticker for it.

Whaaaaaat! That's crazy cheap!!! I can only dream of getting to An age where insurance is that price. I'm with tesco. And my b18 swapped eg costs me around 600 with 8 yrs ncb.

Front knuckles. Rear trailing arms. Rear upper arms are the same across 92-00 But ek uses longer pressed rear lca. The front upper arms are completely different. The subframe, rack and column are different. And the front lower arms are again like pressed and welded rather than cast like ours. And mount differently to the sub frame
-
Yeah ek arms are very different they won't fit. Mb mc eg dc are all the same
-
For the record. Ek front suspension parts are very different to ours. If you were to replace front arms at any point you need eg or dc2. Or mb/mc

In that case give it a go. Don't worry about the ecu messing up. It'll be Fine as long as you don't play football with it -

generally obd2 cars have different connectors. Mb6 seems to be a weird one having obd1 plugs still. All I'm saying is if you pull the ecu out the deck and try it in your ma8. It will take you minutes and then you will know. Good luck. -
Must be a killer having to wait. but you know what they say about those who wait!.. Look forward to some nice pics Monday then

Looks like a good Xmas at your place some nice goodies! 109k is cool. I swapped my engine at 115k for a new lease of life. It's a noisy one always has been but runs smooth and no oil burning blah blah. It's still got loads of vtec action left in it

So now looking above. Are you swapping the interior loom over too. That would solve any problems and would be the option I would choose whilst doing your swap. And Don't forget about your immobiliser on the new ecu. -

That first pic looks like it was taken on a potato. So cant see the plugs very well. p1j is an obd1 ecu. The other doesn't look like obd1 plug layout but like I say I can't see it well enough. But seriously tho im curious. You have taken the engine out. If your confident enough to do that then surely unplugging the ecu to see if it fits shouldn't be a problem for you. Would take seconds and then your question is answered for sure. I hope I don't sound like an arse.. just you could then be certain rather than us lot guessing or googling it for you. -
Beautiful me thinks

Nice stuff man. Head unit got all the bells and whistles. Very nice

Awesome mate excited for you!!!!!!

I have knights old springs that I swapped for mine in the shed. There rusty but usable I would say. You can have them for free if you want to arrange a courier. Let me know. At a guess I would say they are 35mm drop.

You can make it fit no problem.had same issue with my mates. He bought from tegiwa, took months to arrive then sent wrong one couldn't be arsed to send it back after all that so bit of grinding and a couple of bits of stainless it was on. Nice cap!!
