Awesome that's gonna be an amazing setup

Doubt it's engine mounts. Rear mount goes ya just get super jerry shifts. Had it on three honda now. wheel related vibration would occur at a constant speed not just accelerating. So doubt it's that. Probably be inclined to see if you've still got damper on drive shaft. And check for play in wheel bearings

Rotten fuel pipes is a common issue often under the the car at left side of the tank. Think you should check the hoses onto the pump. They use those silly clips that also rot as they are exposed to elements. failing that some gasket sealant under pump and float that's suitable for fuel system.

Gutted for you mate. How pathetic some people are -
Can sometimes shove it downwards at the back either side of plastic if ya cables long enough

First one no. Secknd one yes. You need a b series rad with. 1.25" outlets. D series 1.125"

P28. P06. P30. Something like that. Possibly a conversion harness too. H tune is the easiest place to get them from. Probably sell you a chip with whatever specs you want too. I.e rev limit launch control or whatever. Just be careful tho because the standard limit is there for a reason. Wouldn't push it up too high there's probably no room for more power as they are so you'd just be over revving for no reason. Possibly leading to damage.

Short shift won't fix sloppy shifter. There's two bushes that wear.either end of the stabiliser bar. Replacing those often solves the issue. Otherwise a problem that i had was slop in the universal joint as the shift linkage joins the gearbox. I resolved this by hammering as washer i cut into the universal joint. Possibly not the best fix but it worked for me

That is a real shame! All your hard work!!

Sure there nice cars. I know there not as quick as they should be. Same in fiesta St. Great to drive. Handling amazing. But just not got the grunt I expected.

Something that dyno daze rich advised me to do many moons ago. Is to disconnect the rad hose and poor some boiling water down there and hold it for a min. Then reconnect hose quick and fill the system with coolant. The thermostat will open enough to get coolant passed the stat so you don't get an airlock on the other side of the stat. It worked for me after about two hours fighting a loosing battle not shifting the air. I also like to go round all the hoses squeezing and watching the air bubble come up out the rad neck.

I has same problem was a nightmare. Ended damaging it too. Soo had no choice but to carefully cut it off. Glad you got it sorted easily

I've looked this up so many times. Cus i want a spare to weld oil return. Sure All b18 have the deeper sump. Even ITRS have p72 sump same as ours.?????

I'm afraid not. Your doomed. But hawk central locking is great. Cheap and works really well with two fobs. And specific instructions for your car. There easy to fit really all done in drivers footwell

Defo sounds like thermostat. They are pretty gash things. Not very well made considering the harsh environment they live in.
-
I keep find in myself looking at ek9 oem system.nice and quiet. Must be getting old. But I do love the sound of mine. Just a lil too loud tho. Suprised not been pulled actually.
-
Yes defo. Lost a bit of torque low down. I have 2.5 mani collector as well. Doesn't bother me too much cars quite light.
-
Some people go mad. And say that's the only way to do it. But if you use say a td05 off an EVO and EVO injectors. That's oem reliability. Then you just need to find a reputable tuner. That's the important bit. I will be stressing safety over power. My power goal is modest with the intention of reliability. Plus I can't even push the car to its limit as is on the local twisty stuff. It's quick. So a nice early spool for some mid range punch is more what I'm after.
-
If ya don't mind what did it cost? You've made me want one as a daily
-
Looks stunning. Such a nice colour!!!
-
I know a guy in Leicester who has a race tech kit with a td05 for sale. May have already sold tho not sure. Full bolt on kit with injectors pump blah blah 1150 for the lot

Cheers guys yeah I have been really holding out. Searching for stuff on ebay with weird titles. Like my manifold was advertised for saxo/106. Until you read description and it's b series. So got a bargain. Then pushing my luck with the make an offer button. Few bits are a little suspect. Like wastegate and bov. But if they work for now that's cool. It's not a daily so if I get any issues ill upgrade when need too

Oops that happened to my pcv valve too when cleaned it. Bout passed out when payed for new one 38 squid
