Haha yeah think that's put an end to it. Nice find!!!

I think there side feed, but I'm no expert mate. I've just been scouring internet to see what fits. Can't afford to spend hundreds on parts.
-
I've just baught some EVO 6 injectors with the clips too. Bargain.
-
Knight got one installed and has set it up. Maybe pm him

Looks great! I quite like the calipers tbh.
-
Very nice man. Fancy an accord. Shame my wife has fell in love with the eu8

Itll probably be a case of cutting and welding the mountings from some civic seats onto the EVO rails or adapting th existing to suit the civic bolt pattern. If there similar. Good luck with it they'll be an awesome addition to your car!!!

Also, Obviously keep heater set to hot then motivate the air to move with a bit of squeezing of the hoses going into matrix.

Celica don't fit. Rx7 will. If its turbo. I'm sure they flow huge for stock. Maybe 580cc or something like that. Will a t3 be able to keep boosting upto 8.5k rpm??

Seriously I must have spent ten hours looking at injectors. Its easy if you can afford 3/400 quid a set. If ya cant it seems a lot more difficult. I have a td05 but not liking the cut of its jib. So think I will end up with a t3/4 hybrid jobbie. Or may try td05. Will decide later

Nice nice nice! Love these. There's a moss covered mess of a soarer near my house. Get tempted to try buy it for a project all the time.

Yes I'm struggling too mate. I think I'm going to use EVO injectors. The are low impedance but fit easily by using the Honda seal but just enlarge its ID with a dremel.

The ecu compensates for small indifferences. So I would set it as normal. I believe its 16+/-2 degrees from tdc. There are marks on the pulley at tdc, 14,16 and 18 degrees. So its all there for you. The timing mark on the cambelt cover is quite obvious. Ridge sticking out near the pulley. make sure when you adjust it put a bit of wire between the two pins of diagnostic port. You will get an engine management light on but this will stop the ecu from trying to correct advance or retard the ignition timing thus allowing you to set the base ignition timing.

Fair dos man. Good to be different.

Nice one man. Glad its all good. You may be suprised how it'll last. I have a cheapo dizzy. Was advised it would be crap. Quite the opposite. Two years and 20k later. Fine. -
Interesting stuff. Thanks

Great info. Think it may be common knowledge now but Vauxhall astra speaker baskets from halfrauds or wherever fit if you want deeper after market speakers. Just need to drill one extra hole to screw into.

X2 agree with above. The sliders that the calipers bolt onto dry up after time. Take them out when the calipers off and put loads of grease in the hole and on slider until they get springy when pushed in. Make sure the rubber boots are back in tight. Should defo sort with new discs or a skim

yes some awesome info and great detailed help given. what a guy!

Adjusting the cable is first port of call as mentioned above. Tou do this by removing arm rest or whatever behind lever. Then you see the part to adjust. Quite self explanatory! Other than that if the cables are fine and move freely it'll be the calipers. There's a little bearing on the hand brake lever. Water gets under the seal over time and the bearing gets s**t up and corrodes. And the lever can't move its full stroke if at all. Hence no handbrake. So reconditioned calipers are required.
-
Haha yeah took a day or so to shift those pesky fibres. From my lungs as well as me German bands!

Amazing if only it was that easy to get 15 ponies from the bigger engines. Get it done

Wow that is awesome Dave. Very sensible and well done!
