  1. Cheers Dave I'm really happy how shes coming on. Its a keeper this one. Do love it. Could really get yourself in trouble in it tbh. Its so punchy at motorway speeds. Right in the rev range where the turbos on it and already loaded up. It flies and before you know it your setup to loose your license. I'll calm down now was just getting it out my system
  2. Picked up a few friends stuck to the front bumper! Was out with my oldest lad few squirts of throttle every now and again. Very easy to max out 5th gear. 70 to 150 barely takes any time at all. Will get an app to time actually
  3. Wish could have had a nosey under the front but wanted to stay out the way but looks great up on the ramp.
  4. Car had a fast road setup on it today. Have to say it drives a million times better. Really pleased! Obviously had a suspension overhaul and this is the icing on the cake.
  5. Wire Clip in the fitting broke. Happened at home luckily. Emptying its oil on the floor. Be game over if happened in the road.
  6. Long overdue wash today. Going to get suspension setup tomorow. Wanted it looking it's best. I do love it when it's clean, so rediculously shiny.
  7. Had a drama. I'm just so glad it happened at home. As blasted roughly a litre of oil in my engine bay. If happened on the road my engine would be dead
  8. Maybe if you search on Google to there are steering wheel bosses for eg and prelude. So would imply that yes fits. Nice wheel tho I had a prelude was nice.
  9. I don't know for sure. But I recon it will not fit. I think it would share parts with ek
  10. I know it's not the mb6. But sorting all the niggles on the aerodeck. Rear door was stuck shut. I'll tell you something trying to remove a door card with the door shut is a ballache. And trying to open a latch thats snapped internally in a space 2 inch square is even more of a ballache. But it's open. Ordered a replacement along with a bunch of other little bits and bobs it needs. Be a nice motor!
  11. Yeah man!. Just a bit. I took my ford down there as was the first time I'd drove since hurt my foot and it's still a bit bad. So thaught the cruise control would help and cheap as chips on fuel tbf. So me mate drove the civic back up. Been out for a blast in it tho. Loving it.
  12. Snooze ya loose!!!! Haha not really. He must have posted it up about 2 minutes and I messaged saying I'd take it. Blimey would have been a long drive for you down there was bad enough for me.
  13. Just seen it pop up for sale on here the other day and fell in love. Needs a few bits doing. But drives really really well. Obviously been looked after. Had lots of work carried out in the past. And although it has a few battle scars it generally looks great.
  14. Maybe it's a generic picture. There is a plastic guard on the left side that covers the filler neck isn't there. Maybe it's that
  15. I doubt it without modification and yes the plugs will be different.
  16. Unlikely it would get air in system of was bled properly before unless the coolant level had dropped significantly. I find when bleeding the system if you get it about there then just go for a drive the increased engine speed will usually expell any air into the expansion tank. Make sure the heater are set to hot. So next step is to go through the fan system. You say the car tends to overheat when idling and the fan isn't coming on.. I would check the fan works by disconnecting the fan switch which is usually on the thermostat housing. And link the pins in the plug with a piece of wire, bypassing the fan switch. If the fan comes on then next check the fan switch. If fan doesn't come on when you link that plug out, then there's a fault either with the fan or wiring or fuse has gone etc etc.
  17. Aftermarket one should be fine. Sounds like you have found your heater issue. Hopefully the slight overheating is not a major issue. Its been warm out. But like I say check the fan is working as it should be coming in and off as required. And fit a new stat as there cheap enough. And go from there.
  18. Check the basics mate. Oil and Coolant levels (when cold obviously) Make sure the fan comes on and goes off as expected. And assuming there ok a new thermostat would be a good idea I'd say. Hopefully nothing more serious. As for your heater I'd suggest it's unrelated and sounds like a fuse may have gone. That would be the first place to look.
