  1. You can actually fit a b series lsd into your box. .no doubt the cheapest option. But then there's the m factory options. Whilst in there could fit a higher final drive. Really transform the car if your planning on keeping it n/a.

    Mb6 Not starting

Yes set the dizzy timing about in the middle and bridge the 2 pin connector next to the glove box. It will show EML on dash bit that's fine. Try start it. Move dizzy little bit at a time until it starts. Then set it to 16 degrees before tdc using a timing light once you've got it running.

    Mb6 Not starting

I think I'd be inclined to play with the ignition time first of all. It should be set 16 degree before tdc iirc. It's best to bridge the 2 pin service connector on the left side of glovebox. This will stop ECU altering the timing. Put he dizzy and half way and Try and see if it starts. If it doesn't adjust it either way and try again hopefully will get it to start and then time it up 16 degrees before tdc. If no joy then gonna have to go through your dizzy and ignition system. Check the coil screws are tightened right down for example I've know if before the screws too long and bottoms out not making a good connection. And of course this all came about changing cap and rotor. Try the originals if you know they were working. Then Swap HT leads for another set. Although there usually robust and don't break down on these cars. Just have to go through everything
  4. That's a bummer kinda thaught so aswell but was worth a shot. How is it coming on then? Suspense is killing me

    MB Cluster Change

This the one Rich at dynodaze did few months back? Looks familiar
  7. I fitted one for a mate in an accord type s. Was a bit big on the spline so made a shim for it and cut the plugs off and remade all the wiring to fit the accord. Neat job. Works great and yeah looks amazing
  8. Yeah so eg dc2 delsol fit straight on mb. I'll be honest I recon Swapping the column wont to difficult however I cannot guarantee it won't need some customisation. These things usually require some tweaks.
  9. If your determined to keep it. Use and ek steering column. For the most part I'm sure it will fit. Bit no doubt there will need to be some tweaks made in order to get it all back together.. Or of course. Cut and weld the splined section to existing column.

    HKB Boss kit

How bizarre. I have fitted many boss over the years never had an issue. Is that an airbag compatible boss you have fitted? Personally only ever fitted the non airbag versions and removed the clock spring. Good Info there from Simon. Maybe there is some variations somewhere.
  13. You won't find much better value than this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321885789069
  14. Could be or could be box. Does it drive ok and no noise when ya driving? Does noise go away at slightest touch of clutch pedal or only when completely depressed?
  15. Sweet glad you got it sorted. And pretty quickly too. Looks a decent job.
  16. Jeez man. What a s**tter that is! Looked gorgeous. Had one myself years ago. Another one I should have kept. The deck is looking sweet tho mate. Those wheels really suit it.
  17. I've snapped the seatbelt bolt in the first every mb. Many moons ago. It makes for even more of a pain in the a*s trying to repair. So as Dave says try really heating it try some wd. No 100% but possible there lock tighted in because it's a safety device.
  18. Yeah it was super sketchy, some of the other lads had decent wet tyres and were literally going at it flat out no bother!! Had a few Interested parties in the engine setup but unfortunately being low balled so far. I won't let it go for peanuts it's cost me alot of dow to out together.
  19. I know dynodaze in Nuneaton would repair this to a very high standard no problem. I doubt it will be cheap tho unfortunately.
  20. Not much to update really. I've actually now retired it for the winter I think. Be in the garage now. Looking to sell the engine and turbo kit tho. But did donington last weekend. Great fun but was far too wet in the morning. Ended up in the gravel in the pouring rain. Blaming my tires was like an ice rink. Luckily only some very minor stone chips on the car could have been much worse. It's much improved tho generally. Seats great. New wheels and tyres great in the dry later in the day.
  21. Yeah I think your right. windscreen seal seem weak Dave. Just old honda life.... Mine after the weekend heater in the boot for few hours and dehumidifier things haha....
