  1. Cleaned up the decks bay aswell. Was really grimey and oily. Jetwash and a fresh paint job on the cam cover.
  2. Track day prep upgraded the brakes on a budget. Fitted some braided lines, and some HEL hp600 pads. Claim great things but seem to be at a better price point than anything comparable. Unfortunately found I need a new rear caliper so picking one up tomorrow. Then can flush with ate type200 fluid.
  3. An obd1 p72 will work yes. But will throw engine management light up for missing VTEC oil pressure sensor and knock sensor Iirc. Best bet is to just get yourself a socketed P28 or similar. 100 quid or there abouts. Your gonna need one for tuning anyway.
  4. I'm sure it's possible. But not something that's common place. Your friends ECU will suffer no damage from trying it in your car. However if his is turbo it likely has upgraded injectors and map sensor so the ECU will be unable to run your engine with stock parts.
  5. Get on Google all your answers are there. Look at doing engine conversion in an eg. As very similar.
  6. Yeah pretty much. Depending on what car your d16 comes from you may end up using your d14 engine loom and extending if required. You will also need to run wires back the ECU for VTEC.
  7. I'll correct myself if you want to do the swap it's upto you it's your car. but it's gonna take some fabrication and effort. Not a straight swap at all. Driveshafts, mounts, wiring loom, exhaust, coolant hoses, gear linkage. All going to need to sourced or fabricated.
  8. 100% percent don't bother. Engines got barely any aftermarket support.. no readily available mounts. B swap or if you want to do a swap from an accord H swap.
  9. Hard to say really. Depends on condition, mileage, engine mileage etc etc etc £1500?
  10. Big soft spot for beemers. E90 e92 lovely lookers!.
  11. I'd imagine that's fly's along quite nicely tbh!! With bags of low down grunt too!! Yes turbo civic is definitely dramatic. Especially with a big turbo. Lures you into thinking there's not much go, then slaps you around the chops when turbo finally spins up.
  12. That's some good going mate. Which model have you got and any tuning?
  13. Just realised your numbers.. this the beemer? 170 jeez
  14. Cheers mate. Haha has to be done now and doesn't it. Get it out the system. But yes will save it for the track now. Blyton park is coming up in August. Good times.
  15. They really are firm the fn2 my mate has one. Really grown on me tho, nice cars.
  16. Cheers Dave I'm really happy how shes coming on. Its a keeper this one. Do love it. Could really get yourself in trouble in it tbh. Its so punchy at motorway speeds. Right in the rev range where the turbos on it and already loaded up. It flies and before you know it your setup to loose your license. I'll calm down now was just getting it out my system
  17. Picked up a few friends stuck to the front bumper! Was out with my oldest lad few squirts of throttle every now and again. Very easy to max out 5th gear. 70 to 150 barely takes any time at all. Will get an app to time actually
  18. Wish could have had a nosey under the front but wanted to stay out the way but looks great up on the ramp.
  19. Car had a fast road setup on it today. Have to say it drives a million times better. Really pleased! Obviously had a suspension overhaul and this is the icing on the cake.
  20. Wire Clip in the fitting broke. Happened at home luckily. Emptying its oil on the floor. Be game over if happened in the road.
